Hello knowledgeables!

I recently bought a OEC with a diameter of 3.8 and carat weight of .24. I'm looking to find a match. I found an equally diametered suitor, however, it only weighs .19ct. Is that a drastic difference?
Is this a case of having a "larger spread"?

Thank you!

yap, probably too shallow.

Thank you, Stone-Cold!

Would a difference of .1 be too big? I found a great match, but it's 3.9 instead of 3.8mm

You are matching it online or a vendor is matching it for you?

images?

I like this ebay store as a resource for OECs. http://stores.ebay.com/Emerald-Imports/Old-European-Cut-Diamonds-/_i.html?_fsub=173765319&_sid=179241499&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

Are they earrings or will they be set in the same piece of jewelry? Be pickier if they are right next to eachother like sidestones. I have .36 and .42 trans-euro diamonds and they are close enough for earrings. I bought the .42 from the vendor above to match my .36 and it took me months to find it. I think matching the general facet pattern/culet size is more important than exact diameter and if one is much shallower it seems like the look would be different.

a .1 mm difference will not be visually noticable. The .19 with a diameter of 3.9 is cut waaaay too shallow and therefore the chunky flashes of fire that your other stone has will in no way be matched by this stone.

Thank you everyone!!
I'm finding them myself. Quite half @$$ed at it, if I may say so myself.
These are to replace the paste OECs that are currently in my earrings. I didn't realize how dull they appeared until I compared it to my new H color OEC. So they should match up pretty well since they're going into a specific setting.
I bought the other stone, if anything, I have 10 days to return.
Here they are:

Me too! Here's what one looks like now. My mother had given them to me, apparently it was one of her last purchases before immigrating to the US. She's assuming white topaz, I'm assuming paste haha.
