Hi Jackie! Thanks for checking in! I''m sorry you''re still having trouble, but it looks like things may be looking up. Charlie finally understands the magnitude of what''s going on and how it''s affecting you...long overdue, but better late than never. Also, I find it reassuring that your MOH, after briefly speaking to your FMIL came to the conclusion that she''s a bit batty. As for your parents, I''d be frustrated too! If they wanted kosher food, why couldn''t they tell you a month ago right? Anyway, I''m glad you and your FI are keeping the option of eloping at the forefront. Make sure both of your parents know that. There is nothing wrong with telling them "If this gets more out of hand, we''ll do it ourselves." I hate to call it a threat, but they need to know you''re serious and all that matters to you two is your marriage. Keep your head up, and enjoy those margaritas!

I think letting everyone know that elopment is an option is the way to go. It will be seen as a threat, and I am sure I will get quiet tears from my mom, a heaving sigh from my dad, and a flurry of, "Was it something I did?" from his mom.

So my mom today emails me, "Gee, are you sure about this? We really want you to be happy about the food." I wrote back that it''s a done deal and we need to move on.

Margaritas abound!

But, for fun, I bought my shoes today...whaddya all think? Any suggestions for earrings? A slight dangle is ok, but nothing chandelier-like...
