I liked the brooch, but I absolutely ADORE the new ring so much more. It is beautiful Pandabee! I can't quite determine my favorite part of the ring....love the color, love the traps, love the versatility (ring finger vs middle finger).

yenny & maccers - I probably won't do anything for a while with the brooch, but I had planned on setting it with either a cheapie gem or a ...czsaywhatIdidn'tsayanything and then hanging it from a chain vertically to wear as a pendant. OR if I don't get around to doing that, I'll just sell it. I do love the filigree work on it though so I'd hate to part with it!

Catmom - I remember your beautiful blue zircons!! We should definitely start a fan club. I think you and ForteKitty can be founding members

Wow! A truly fabulous combination, I love the colour and cut of the stone and with Diamond traps...perfection!
I’m so with you regarding the issue with the claws/prongs, that exactly the sort of ‘off’ that really irritates me too, I’ve had to make myself decide many times over the years...’is it worth it to sort and will they improve on it, or is it me to sort my opinion out to accept it and live with it’. I’m glad they virtually sorted it for you.
