Mens Bling Eyecandy Folder

Re: Mens Ring Eyecandy Folder

If it were me, i would choose the round solitaire. reason is that the 2 rings are quite geometric, so the princess looks harder/ colder than the round solitaire.

However, if you wanted something different, as you have rounds in your other pieces, then the princess cut. \
BTW- love your wedding band and bracelet: clean lines/ geometric.

good luck with decision.

Re: Mens Ring Eyecandy Folder

Thanks for your input, Greg, I think I agree. When I acquire it, I'll take a pic of my hand showing both the bracelet and ring, and we can celebrate in being right

And thanks for the compliments on my wedding ring and bracelet. Is that your wedding ring in your avatar? I thought clicking on it would enlarge it, but it doesn't. I'm new at this; how do I get to see a user's photos, etc?

And is there a way to add carat weight, color, size, etc. to a photo?

Re: Mens Ring Eyecandy Folder

Hi Doctor,

The avatar is my right hand ring. I have linked the Show me the bling (SMTB) thread that i posted when i got my ring below. There are many pictures in the middle of page 1 and all the stats of the ring are on there.

https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/asscher-tension-coming-my-way-soon.180591/

As for adding information to the photos, all i know is you add the information along/ under the photos (like in my thread (topic) above) unless you are good with photoshop. I hope that makes sense.

If you are interested in looking at ppls photos of rings, go through to the persons avatar. Below that, you will see users posts and topic. Click on the users topics. Most PSers will have posted a thread on SMTB about their ring. So, click on users topics to find the SMTB thread and you should be able to locate their ring and hopefully the stats are there, too.

I hope that helps.

Looking forward to seeing what you have decided on.

Re: Mens Ring Eyecandy Folder

Hi guys

I ended up changing my yellow radiant for an emerald cut 'white' diamond to match my partners. thought it looked better than the yellow with the rose gold. what do you think? Its F, VS1, 0.48ct emerald.

Sharing my 0.19ct G VVS2 18K satin finished white gold in tension setting.

This is my first ring and is a gift from my mom. Although the stone is not that big, it really sparkles like crazy and appears icy clear under natural light. The tension ring exposes the diamond's excellent cut.

Sharing a few pictures using my iphone on top of a loupe.

Thanks for looking!

Hi, you have a beautiful ring, but its not a tension setting regardless of what the seller told you.
Tension settings have no metal under the diamond bridging the gap.

Here's a tension setting ...

Thanks for correcting me. What do you call this setting then? It looks like a hybrid of a channel and tension.

Re: Mens Ring Eyecandy Folder

I've heard them called bypass settings, faux tension settings and tension setting look.

My new ring to replace my lost/ stolen wedding band. Thanks to everyone in the pricescope community! With everything I learned here (I knew nothing about jewelry before) I was able to buy an H&A diamond at James Allen, have a ring designed and crafted by Bruce Boone, get it appraised by Jeff Averbook and finally insure it with Jewelers Mutual. It was a scary process at times but because of all I learned here I was able to do it with confidence.
Thanks,
Michael

Re: Mens Ring Eyecandy Folder

Rhodium is my new friend. I had this old Cartier ring in 18K gold, all banged up. I don't wear yellow gold anymore so I was about to sell it when I realized, hey, if white gold is normally plated with Rhodium, why not yellow gold? Bam! New Ring!

And yes, I know it wont last forever, but dose anything?

Hi There, I'm so sorry I just so happen to come upon this, and usually don't frequent PS anymore, but I believe John Pollard is/was/maybe still with Whiteflash, so I would check with them or check in with him there- I hope that helps :))
