finally got it to work this is the dark picture on my finger natural light.
i will try the light purple next again

Wow what a learning experience this all is..first buy the gem, take a pic and put it on the net.piece o cake..not!!! Hope the pictures are ok.

Beautiful. I have been looking for a colour change sapphire for a while but I can seem to find any with anywhere near a strong change in colour. If you don''t mind me asking where did you get yours?

Thanks Emeraldgirl I bought the stone in ebay, the color change is not that strong it has to be directly under flouresant lights to look this purple, most of the time it is blue. I guess I was expecting it to change like an alexandrite but it definatly does not do that.
But I love it anyway..the ebay dealer was gemspresent.
