mixing metals - rose gold and yellow gold specifically

I dont, but I totally would!! I recently bought a preowned tiffany elsa peretti mini heart in yellow gold, to wear with my mini eternal circle, also yellow gold. But i would have bought a rose heart in a second, if i had found one for a good price. I still might, should I come across one....:lol-2:

The Tiffany collection continues! Sounds like a lovely mini heart. I agree it would be pretty in rose gold too! I have been enjoying looking at Tiffany rose gold rings lately.

I think it's really what you like, as others have said. I don't like to wear yellow and rose in a stack together unless I add some white and then I'm okay with it. It just looks more pleasing to me that way. But honestly, when I mix metals I tend to mix yellow with white, or rose with white, and rarely, if ever, mix yellow and rose.

"It depends" would be my answer. Form is as important to the look as color. Some jewelry pieces are so diva...they have to fly solo (true whether mixing metals or not)

I thought I would bump this thread because I’m now mixing rose and yellow gold. I actually like the subtle difference..I don’t know if it’s just Tiffany’s rose gold that’s more subtle..The Tiffany rose gold does match my Cartier Trinity’s rose gold. Maybe because it’s 18k rose gold? It’s barely noticeable stacked with my 18k yellow gold cushion..
