Two weeks would be 10 business days approximately. It depends on how backed up they are and sometimes it is sooner. I have been waiting for over a month because of their holiday so it can also be longer. The one I am getting tomorrow will be 9x8 and I have also had 9x8.5 and 11x10 and 11x9. And a square 8.5 and an 8 mm so far....that’s starting to sound like too many now!
OMG!!!!! it’s gorgeous!!!!!! Wow it’s stunning! Now im really wanting to try their Rounds hearts & Arrows.. has it been really good so far? Do all rounds have to be custom with the hearts and arrows? I think I read on a thread on weddingbee about their rounds H&A ..Ok...it has arrived! It was easier just to do a video right now in my kitchen where the light is slightly dim. This is for my SIL in California who saw my rings while visiting at Xmas and wanted one. This is a 2 carat ACC in G/H from SG with .50 carat H&A sides. She wanted a harder platinum so it was made by my stepsons company in PT950/RU and I am showing it with my vintage diamond bead set band so you can see how it goes nicely with diamonds too.

It is a little easier to see the H&A in pictures than in real life but I do know they are H&A cuts because my son took photograph’s of them for me when he received them. In looking at the ring, I can see the difference from the very first Meghan ring that I ordered that had round brilliants. These look crisper and just go much better with the center stone because they are both G/H but still very white. I have always dealt with Cherry from the very beginning. Her email is [email protected]. If she is busy, she might pass you over to Demi, Grace or Annabelle and they all speak pretty good English. When we were talking originally over on Weddingbee, the H&A cut was not very good but they made some adjustments and if you ask for the thicker arrows, that is what you should get.OMG!!!!! it’s gorgeous!!!!!! I really want a 3 stone round hearts and arrows.
Hope you don’t mind but how much was it for that 3 stone ring?

I think the stones were around $250 with shipping and I believe the setting was made by my son’s company for around $650 in platinum. If you had it made with SG in platinum with rounds, you would probably be around $750 total. The Chinese platinum can be a little softer but as long as you don’t go too thin, it is not a problem. Another option is that you could actually get lab diamond side stones so only the center would be moissanite. My son bought one that was just under 1/2 carat (.4 and I think it was $335. Still not a bad pricing considering for having lab diamond sides.
I was running short on time but I snapped a few pics this afternoon in different lighting. I will take some more tomorrow focusing more on the rounds.
Hmmm....I hate it when they do that. I went back and looked at my email and it definitely says H&A on the quote and I can see the arrow’s in the picture. Can you see if Grace can ask Cherry or find out what the lowest size is that they do in the H&A. If they don’t want to do it, then I would consider Tianyu for your ring project because I know they do. I am not sure if Cherry just did me a favor or not? It is not a huge deal for the average person but you want to get the best stones that you can and it would in fact look better with matching H&A’s.Thanks for the photos!
I spoke with grace and she said they don’t H&A with 4.5 mm? Do you think their round brilliant in 4.5mm would be good enough with my center being with the thicker arrows.. ugh I can’t decide..

I don’t remember the exact number but it was between $700-$900 range I think? It did not go over $1k.Hey I hope you don’t mind, but what was the cost did you pay for this 10x9 Solitarie? I just asked a quote from Grace so wanted to compare prices
I would go with a 4.5 mm with a 1.5 center. I think you would need to be at 8 mm (2 carat) to have a 5 mm side unless you don’t want to see an obvious difference in size. Send an email to Ella at Tianyu. Her email is [email protected]. Hopefully she will get back to you quickly with a price.Thank you! I’ll try to see and reach out to Tianyu.
Do you have any idea what their prices are with 3 stones?
I’m thinking of doing a 1.5 Center and can’t decide if I should do a 4.5mm or 5mm what do you think?
To follow up here is a Vimeo link to the video Demi had sent to me of the ring mentioned in my previous post:
Does anyone know about how much it costs to get a stone switched out at a jeweler? I’m just looking for a rough estimate here.
Wow! Can’t wait to see you post pics of you wearing it!!!Long time lurker, first time poster So I apologize if my formatting is wrong
I ordered an IJ 12x10 moissanite from Starsgem, my rep was Demi, paid on the 29th of April
Total was under $500, paid via the Alibaba site with zero complications.
Received the CAD that very night, using all I had learned from these threads, WeddingBee, Reddit etc I pre-specified what dimensions I wanted the ring made to ensure proper sturdiness; very few revisions needed to be made otherwise.
Received the photos tonight from Demi, she will be mailing it out today
I was a little surprised by the size of the stone when I first saw it... even though I knew what i had asked for:roll
I ordered this size centre stone because I wear US size 9, and wanted something proportionate to my blingy standards I'm hoping once on my finger it will feel juuuust right
I went with an I-J stone because I did not think I would enjoy too much the stark white of a DEF-GHI against my (medium brown) skin tone. The yellow gold I thought would also be complimentary.
Demi was kind, informative and highly responsive. Some of the other reps at SG froze me out once I'd been asking too many questions, but she was always happy to see to my needs I would highly recommend contacting her if you are interested in having something made I also had the opportunity to speak to Mona, sadly we could not work together on this but she was also very pleasant and helpful and I hope to work with her in the future
Thank you to all of you who contribute to these Chinese moissanite threads! It took months of me educating myself by reading and re-reading to feel confident enough to make a purchase. I will of course do my small part with this post and will also update with my own photos and videos once received
GGUYS! SG Now is now advertising their 1ct lab diamond. Has anyone asked how much it cost?

The H&A pattern here actually looks really good

This is really pretty! I'm curious to see how it compares with your diamonds; didn't you say your diamond was K? I'd love to see!!!
I vote for the AV! I think no matter what you'll be disappointed with the other stones.I’d like opinions on this...I feel bad posting this on the AV thread so I thought I’d ask here.
I bought an August Vintage Ideal Round a couple months back and I LOVE it and am positive I’d never sell it. I love it more than my Tianyu H&A, which is nice but sometimes looks “shallow”/plasticky in certain lighting...whereas my AV looks great almost always.
I know I don’t want to get another H&A from a North American company because lab diamond prices are dropping. My AV ideal round is more than enough. However, I love the OEC cut from AV and have been undecided on whether I should spend more and get that or ask Starsgem to cut it similar to the way AV cuts theirs...I love their OMCs/ACCs, but their OECs I feel a little mixed about. Plus I think it will be a while until there will be antique cut lab diamonds as MRBs tend to be the main focus.
I know this is a first world, superficial problem but I'm going in circles as to what to do.
I saw the MoCo one from christydanielle that was put in her DK setting. It was cheaper but comparable to the AV. That could be a middle ground choice.I’d like opinions on this...I feel bad posting this on the AV thread so I thought I’d ask here.

Gah, I think you're probably right...it sucks because I think Starsgem's antique cushions look GREAT. My OMC was off the shelf/non-custom and it looks very similar to the square cushion that AV makes.I vote for the AV! I think no matter what you'll be disappointed with the other stones.
I don't know why I didn't think of this! I'll check this, thanks!I saw the MoCo one from christydanielle that was put in her DK setting. It was cheaper but comparable to the AV. That could be a middle ground choice.
I also went for a big stone but the height on the ring was so high, I am in the middle of replacing it for something smaller. I do like having a larger stone for my finger size but these cushions are so deep. You have a peg head and it looks like they put it as low as it can go. I was having a hard time just getting the ring to stay upright. In case you have major problems with the height, you can always change it out for something smaller. I am putting mine in a pendant so it is not wasted but I just couldn’t deal with the height of the ring. Mine was 11x10 so just slightly smaller but it does look like an ice cube balancing on top of the band....I am referring to my ring with this comment. You might be fine with your’s and give it a few weeks to see how you feel.Long time lurker, first time poster So I apologize if my formatting is wrong
