Which is OEC and which is OMC? What does OMC mean please? Who do you think is the best person to buy a 1.5 oval from for an engagement ring? An oval that's as diamond looking as possible. Thanks.

My ring is here and i love it!
It's an OMC G/H with small culet and an OEC light champagne with medium culet (light yellow brownish) set in 14k rose gold. The color of the OEC looks the most IRL in the last hand shot picture.
The ring is well made, solid and heavy. The OMC is a little bit warm but still white. Next to my ACC E/F i can see that the OMC is slighty yellowish.
I was going back and forth and changed my mind a few times but Mona was very nice,patient and gave me lots of advices.
I think her prices are very competitive together with the great communication i'm thinking about a next project with her lol

This is very cool! I love the handshot so we can see how it sits on a finger. The different cuts mixed together really works and it is such a modern twist. I am sure people are going to be grabbing your hand all the time to get a closer look!

If i can do over again i would go for a 7x7 OMC instead of 8x8. Now it's a little bit too big on my finger size 6, ring is 6.5 due to swelling. But i'm very happy with it.
I'm now thinking what to make next hahaha

The ring is gorgeous on you hand. I love those color combination you got there. Also, the rose gold setting just marry the yellow stone and the white stone together. Great job picking it out.

Yes she did. I was making sure that I am happy with color, cut of the stone and how the finished ring look. She is very responsive and answer all concerns I have about the ring.

I read through this post and decided to give Mona a try. She was very pleasant to chat back and forth with on Instagram. I thought her prices for OECs were a bit pricy, I’ll probably just buy an August Vintage because I know the quality is fantastic. For now I ordered their take on a H&A, looks more like RB to me. In the pics and videos it looks very white which is what I wanted. It is shipping today, I’ll post some pics when it gets here. Then it’s off to David Klass to set in an old setting that I had laying around.

Today i received my lab diamond ring. The specs are 5mm VS/EF 14k white gold.
The stone sparkles a lot and i couldn't find any inclusion yet. Compare to my G color diamond the lab diamond seems a bit whiter. I have to let a family member check this out so hopefully in a couple of weeks.

David Klass worked his magic on an old setting for my moissanite from Mona. He swapped out the side stones and changed the prong, amazing work as per usual. I think it looks pretty good for a stone that was less than $300. It’s my fun little travel ring for now.
