But 8.5mm at the bottom might be too wide for my finger.

Yes, down to 7mm at the bottom, but maybe I should have ordered a size 9 instead of 8.75, it fits ok now since it is winter but it might be a little tight during the summer.

Stunning! Really gorgeous masculine ring. It proportionately looks great! I'm glad the taper is there too!

Regarding that spot... Is it something you see in real life? If the ring is a bit snug, is the culet area pressing against your skin?

ETA: what colour is your wife's phone case? It might be the mirror of that? I took a few photos of my CBI diamond and it looked black because of that. With the diamond at a tilt it may just be visible for that area?

What do you think of it?

Beautiful stone! :love::love:. of course I expect nothing less from a CBI stone. This is the 3rd CBI I have had seen IRL, and they are all beautiful stones. :love:. there is one other CBI (1.75ct H VS1) that belongs to my friend which I haven't seen yet.
 
Here's the AGS report with all my dream proportions... :love::love:. I'll post some better pics of the ring tomorrow.

I am very excited to see more pictures tomorrow! You have it in what I call “Pop Rocks” lighting here—really cool laser light show in real life, but not good for taking pictures, in my experience! At least not with cell phone cameras.

Love it! :love:. The only thing I would change (if possible) is to have the grooves cut with less depth so that I can see more diamond.
