I find video cameras (and DLSRs for that matter) interesting. During my live Internet session with Wink, I would pick out a stone that I didn't think matched, but when he moved that stone under the camera, it looked great. After repeating this process several times I think I drove Wink crazy with all of my false alarms.

Now what I'm worried about is that my Tiffany Fancy Yellow cushion will look pale next to these beautiful and saturated FIYs.

Although Wink's bracelet is handcrafted , and thus costs a bit more than machine-made I am told, the plans for the pendant are more ordinary. I went over budget (by several thousand) with these incredible diamonds (but happily so), so I have a couple of stock Stuller pendants in mind but cannot make a decision until we hear back from Wink's bench as to the actual count available.

A note about handcrafted versus machine made bracelets: I also have a 6.5 TW machine made bracelet (pre-PS) that I sometimes wear with Wink's bracelet. Wink's is stiffer and thus does not flop and roll around or twist on my wrist like my machine-made one does (drives me crazy at times). The stones are also closer together on Wink's bracelet.

Thanks Kroshka. When I started this project I had no idea that rounds were so difficult to find. The only reason I originally asked Wink to price round FY .10s, .12s, and .15s was because my two tennis bracelets have rounds. Then hubby said that I should consider .20s because I already had .33s and .16s in my bracelets. Well that led to the "Search for the Holy Grail" because unknown to me, .20s in FIY rounds are difficult to find.

Not that it matters now, but Wink never asked me if I would consider radiants.

DG and AL, thank you and I am full of anticipation too.

AB, Wink talked to his setter yesterday and the ETA I am told is 2 - 3 weeks for the handcrafted bracelet. If you want to know any other technical aspects as to how this bracelet is made, we will need to defer to Wink.

After the bracelet is complete then we need to address the pendant and the number of heads needed.

The pendant I have in mind currently holds 5 round stones and I already have contingency plans in place for 3 - 8 FIY diamonds remaining from the parcel. If only 3 FIY diamonds left, then will order two colorless diamonds for a Ying/Yang look (unless Wink wants to source two more FYs). Will just have to wait and see, and of course not knowing the outcome drives me crazy too.

Yes, I'm pretty anal about these things as I was a VP Information Technology/Software Engineering before I retired. I swear, Wink is a Saint to put up with me. Even dear hubby said yesterday that he wanted to leave town for two weeks because I'm driving him crazy too

Hubby thinks I should make a 3-stone ring, but I already have the Tiffany Fancy Yellow Modified Brilliant Cushion ring that I plan to wear for a long time (I paid big bucks for that ring and I plan to wear that sucker ... LOL).

This waiting is killing me, but we're are on the home stretch given that this has
been going on since late March.

I was told the bracelet is finished, Wink and I are going to "show and tell" via the Internet on Monday, at least that is the plan for now.

Here is a teaser photo for now. Will do a SMTB post along with a video from Wink after I receive the bracelet.
The three darker diamonds over the clasp I think are an artifact of those diamonds being set on top of the clasp.

As Wink would say, look at that dispersion !!!!!

TL, it has some do-hickey on it in addition to the part that slides in.
I will ask Wink to explain the techincal part of the clasp if it is not against the rules.
