Just wanted to bump this thread. I'm thinking OEC lovers new to PS might enjoy reading it, I know I did.
@ForteKitty you're OEC has already garnered 12 pages of WOWs but here's another one.
What an absolutely fabulous diamond!!!
Aww thank you!!! I need to take some better pictures but my phone is so old it's embarassing. I have some on IG but those aren't great either.
And that baby’s hand is quite a bit bigger now!!
SO much bigger, his index finger is the same size as my ring finger now!!!

I’m just about 8 years late to this but wow . It’s gorgeous!! Definitely HOLY GRAIL MATERIAL. Also wondering if you picked a forever setting and if you got it GIA graded?
I'm really embarrassed to admit that I hadn't done either! I've been slowly amassing a collection so my focus was elsewhere, some are posted in my IG but most aren't photographed at all. I know, I know, bad PSer
I took those at the PS gtg in Carlsbad last year and that’s is the last time I wore either ring.
Your rings are very pretty! Is there a particular reason you don't wear the HG ring anymore or do you just rotate between them all?
@ForteKitty, I tagged you once on a thread that asks PSers to show collection on one hand. I don’t think you saw it- but even if you did or didn’t want to, I now understand how that request would have been impossible to make.
Your rock collection and taste of bling is exquisite!! Your hand would have fallen off if you wear your all your rings on that hand, assuming they’d all fit which I seriously doubt
Seriously though, thanks for sharing your beauties! More, more pics, please!
ETA: May I see a pic of your OEC three stone ring, please?
Amazing collection! Can you tell us more about that brown(?) OEC too?
I searched a long time for the perfect brown diamond. I wanted a 2+ct well cut old stone with character, and I wanted a pure brown with no modifier. That's about impossible to find apparently as most have a modifier. Then I saw this from ebay towards the end of 2018, set in a WG mounting and looked kind of green, but the pattern was so pretty that I took a big chance. It looked a little greenish brown in person at first, and I was disappointed. Almost returned it, but something told me to unset it, so I was like "why not? even if I don't use it somebody would love it" It immediately looked better out of the wg mounting, like a golden brown with no green at all, so off it went to GIA. I was thrilled and knew it had to look like a sunflower. David Klass created two sets of CADs for me with the petals in different orientation, and I decided on mine with the shank coming up between the petals on the sides, because having the petal points at E-W over the shank would have made it too wide and poked the fingers next to it. Ring was completed in April 2019, I posted some on IG but was too lazy to start a separate thread here. I love that ring!
GIA specs:
2.46ct Circular Brilliant
8.55-8.83x5.15mm
Natural Fancy Yellow-Brown, SI1
57% Table
59.3% Depth
Polish/Symmetry both Good
I rotate rings, but most of the time I'm too lazy to put jewelry on. My fingers also shrink throughout the workday and I've accidentally left them at work too many times
and had to drive back to retrieve them! Then COVID happened and i'm washing my hands so much it's just easier to not wear anything.
