FABULOUS!!!! Once again... very impressed! Such a good job of taking a large stone and making it look very delicate and wearable. Next time I see jessica... I am going to give her some kudos! Did she contribute a lot to the concept... or did you send pictures to her? It is a great design and I have not seen anything exactly like it in the store... but then again they usually have smaller stones on display. The workmanship looks great as well!

That is a great looking ring.

I love that ring. They did an AMAZING job with the setting. Amazing job. Where are they located?

Thanks Kaleigh & Holly!

So what do you guys think of the color of the stone? Just curious since it''s not your usual amethyst color. It''s what I wanted for sure but I haven''t seen many other amethysts with this shade.
I flat out love this ring! If it were a ring for me, I would probably need to go a little smaller; I''m not sure I have the hutzpah or panache to carry that size off! The color is gorgeous.

It is built very similiar to my pear aquamarine halo RHR. And you''re right, the basket does keep the ring from spinning around.
Pear! Aquamarine! Halo! I need to see pictures!!

Oh. My. God.

That setting is AMAZING. Seriously. Leon has some STIFF competition. WOW.

Wow - what a compliment!

I am very very happy with the setting. Those teeny tiny prongs are just incredible. I actually can''t believe they managed to make this huge stone wearable!

I''m so jealous you can go see Jessica and the shop. I''ve never even been there.

I sent pictures to her of what I wanted in general in terms of the halo. Then we discussed it - thin shank, diamonds almost all they way around...etc. But really we didn''t get too specific. Jessica is like my jewelry twin or something so she really knows what I like and we have the same ideas of what looks good. Also, I haven''t seen an ugly ring designed by 23rd Street yet - so I was pretty confident that they would make something awesome. For the most part I just let them do their thing.

When I sent them the stone I thought I was sending them a bit of a challenge - make this huge stone look elegant and wearable. I thought if they pulled it off I would be really impressed. And I am! I''m sure I''ll be sending them more stones from my treasure box.

Say hi to Jessica for me!! We were kind of sad when the ring was finished and we weren''t going to chat with each other every week anymore. LOL!

FireGoddess - they are in California in Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach. Jessica works at the Santa Monica store.

Pssst - I love your pear in your avatar & it was part of the inspiration for this ring. Hope you don''t mind!!

Not at all! Their workmanship looks amazing!!!

I really like how they did the sides of the basket in particular. light and airy... but still a nice added design element. Her idea? Nice.

I think the basket was the actually jewelers idea. He told Jessica he was going to do "something special" for the basket but never really told us what that meant! That''s why I think it''s pretty safe to just give them a general idea and let them go. You''re going to end up with something great no matter what. Plus - if I had been unhappy with it I know they would have done whatever I wanted to fix it.

The ring and amethyst are just amazing, I love the gallery, the pave, the shank, the prongs the whole kitten kaboodle, it is just perfection.

The picture on your daughters hand was awesome I am sure she can''t wait t get her hands on that one for real one day :)

OM, what a gorgeous ring!!! I don''t know how I almost missed this beauty!!! I love the pic on your daughters hand; very sweet!

Pear! Aquamarine! Halo! I need to see pictures!!
We (the DH and I) are contemplating using some wedding gift cards to purchase a digital camera here shortly; after which I plan an extensive photo display of THE RINGS. The won''t rival yours, but I''m fond of them.

I love this ring! I usually like darker amethysts but I can see the pastel beauty in your ring. The setting really enhances the stone and I would want to wear this ring every day. Sublime.

Oh gorgeous! I have long admired their work but not been fortunate to own one (love their sapp necklaces in particular).

Wear in good health - it is simply STUNNING!

OMG That is Beautiful !!!!!!
