DS, your new ring is just gorgeous! So glad that it all came together for you - I have to agree that Bill Pearlman and Julian are just top notch vendors!

The stone looks to be as well cut as any asscher I've ever seen - great choice. I really love the profile view of the ring too!

Took a break for dinner! Thank you for all your kind words Sarah, Sharon, nielsell, orbaya, Maisie, Ginger, Aprilbaby, missy, Christina, and MGR!

This will be a RHR, but I wouldn't be opposed to wearing it on my left hand sometimes other than it is a little too big. It works fine with the Legacy band, so I might wear it that way occasionally!

I don't have all that much, Christina, but I hope someone ends up wanting these things because I justify them partly because they will be heirlooms! I'll enjoy them in the meantime, though!

Thanks, MGR! I really hope I can get the final e-ring this year and be done with that!!!

I had been looking for weeks and found an Eli in their sale section. It was just what she wanted and Bill was very kind to my future nephew as he went through the process of buying such an important piece of jewelry.

I saw those Eli rings! A jeweler here carried them as well, so I watched the prices until I did the Beaudry spree! Bill is a first class gentleman, that is for sure! My husband needs to be very thankful we live far from that store!!!

Good GOLLY miss MOLLY!! DS, this ring is truly stunning. With each picture, showing a different (yet equally beautiful) angle, my jaw dropped a bit more and more. DH thought I was having a stroke!

I know, I know, that's not supposed to be funny (he didn't find any humor in it at all), but I can't stop LMAO because I'm definitely one of "those" who'd be found laying in front of my laptop in the middle of typing a post on PS.

Yes, it was pretty rough since the power went out Christmas afternoon. I finished cooking our holiday meal on my gas top, and we ate by candlelight. I am glad that we enjoyed our dinner, and were not aware that it would be days before the power would be restored! Ignorance is bliss!

I do not have a "forever" setting chosen yet, but I had it reset in a simple vintage setting that I have loved for more than 20 years. I cannot tell you how much of a difference it made in the diamond. The reset lets the diamond "breathe", show off its size, and I love seeing the pavillion too. I have been quite content wearing it in the vintage setting for now, but I am still saving pictures of settings in a scrapbook of sorts for it's dream home. You are so kind to inquire!

Wintotty... .Thank you so much!!! I still have second (or third!) thoughts about the I color AVR. It may be the closest that I can ever find to what I want. Hard decision because I don't know whether to hold out for a G-H or not! Other than the color, it was a perfect cut, etc. Jon said I could get it and always trade up later, but then I wouldn't be able to do a permanent setting. So I just stopped thinking about it for the time being and just bought an asscher to tide me over!

Classy....you certainly had a white Christmas to remember, then! I am glad you didn't know in advance how long it would take to have power restored! I know all to well how that is living in the south! I am excited that you are able to wear your new diamond now!!! I wish you would post a thread with your current setting because I would love to see it!!! I think it is very wise to wear it in a temporary setting until you are sure of what you want. And if you decide to make the current setting permanent, that is fine, too!
