Also - will probably get the soli and its matching wedder soldered together. I *always* wear them together, and even tho they stay lined up more than you'd expect, I'd like them to be exact. I *never* thought I'd be someone who soldered their rings together, but for this pair, it just makes sense.

I love soldering and have been thinking about that too for a long time. I think your rings would be stunning soldered together!

Awww - thank you, Bling! (that's what I call you in my head - 'Bling' ). You're always so supportive of my ideas and I SO appreciate it! It would just keep them lined up, which, with the wraps and the fleur de lys on the back of both rings, is important to the look of the rings. They would still have an air gap at the front, as the head of the soli sits on a donut and the soli band is tapered, while the wedding band is straight. But they'd be attached at the back - just enough to stop them from rotating out of alignment.

Hi @CoolKat The three together are a bit much for my stumpy fingers. And I like rings to have a lot of balance when worn together, and in these three, the 7 stone ring swamps the wedding band. I'm currently having a second band made, and it's more substantial and will sit better with the 7 stone. I'll wear those 2 together.

Awww - thank you, @meely! This is my all-time favorite solitaire. It has just the right amount of detail on it for my taste without it being too plain. I absolutely love it! I *might* turn it into a three stone one day, but I'm in no rush to do that. We'll see.

Finally received the Beloved matching band. They look stunning together. The band has just a smidge of detail and it elevates it beautifully. Together with the beloved soli, it's just perfect. <3

Utterly in love with these rings - not quite as much as with the man, of course - but it's getting close! I'm so chuffed to have rings so beautiful and will take photos that will hopefully do them more justice when the sun comes out in a day or two.

Oh yes, this streamlining of the solitaire and matching band looks great. The fleur de lys on the underside and shank shoulder details complement the geometry of the diamond in its prongs. Very stylish.

Yes, Beloved is my HG diamond. There's a possibility I'll change her to a three stone at some point in the future, but for now I'm just loving her as she is. If I *do* change her to a three stone, the details and 'feel' will remain the same. I'm thinking about 1.3ct on each side. But we'll see!

Well, Beloved is making some major moves! Two new ACAs have been purchased - 1 x 1.12 H VS1 and 1 x 1.13 H VS1 - to go either side of my current ACA diamond - 4.05ct H VS1. This next - and last - iteration will still be in the same style - yellow gold with platinum head, fleur de lis baskets, platinum double wraps on the shank, double fleur de lis detail on the back. 6 prongs on the center stone, 3 on the sides. Hard, *hard* angle to the sides. Basically - my dream ring.

My intention was always to make Beloved a 3 stone, but the upgrade was...a lot, and the sides are...a lot (comparatively). So time was needed. But we're there now, so let's go!!

This will be my final upgrade. I said when I got the Beloved center stone that I'd never upgrade her and that, as a diamond, it was everything I'd ever wanted. That still is true and I have no desire for her to be bigger, whiter, or different in any way. But it's no secret on PS that my love of 3 stones is true and eternal, and I think I said on Page 1 of this thread that I would possibly change her to a 3 stone one day. That day is now.

This will also take up the entirety of the spread of my finger. So this is as big as it can ever be for me, while still looking like it actually fits me. My last 3 stone had 2 different sets of sides (3.05ct center, with 2 x .61 and .62 sides and then 2 x .95 and .96 sides when I upgraded). This new set will be in between the two sets of sides I had, but closer in proportion to the larger pair, which I think will be perfect.

I think it will be at least a month till she is on my finger - maybe 6 weeks or so - but deeeeefinitely worth the wait!

And @msop04 - I live by my own mantras, as you can see! In this case - "Go big or go home"!!
