Wow! My ring is finally here. Im so happy with it!!! Initially I was concerned with both colour and size ( for my very large fingers ) but I can honestly say I must not be that colour sensitive. I viewed a few diamonds here in Australia prior to my final decision and even though I view hearts of fire range I started to really pick the colour up in H, and that was a 1ct. I feared the worst as I chose a larger diamond.

Finger size 8.5 but its a tad tight atm
Once received I went over to the shops as I had to do a few things and get my nails done for this coming weekend, Im visiting the family for my mums 60th birthday so it arrived in the nick of time as I wont see them again for several months. Anyway the lady doing my pedicure gushed over the ring, she bought it up several times commenting on how large and sparkly it was. Another girl that used to be in the bridal business said she has never seen a diamond that big in real life before. I was stoked!!! I live in a capital city so Im pretty happy about those comments, especially that they thought it looked large on my finger. The I colour, from what I had in my head is no where near tinted. It looks white...not D/E White, but then Im not a huge fan of that, and believe me here they would think its fake, I was already asked if it was a diamond...ah yeah!!! I can though see a slight tint NOT yellow under those yellow tone lights though, glad I don't have them lights in my house and they are only in a few stores I visit. But honestly I would go an I again and there will be an again at same stage...I thinking a 3.5ct upgrade a little down the track. As happy as I am with this colour I wouldn't go lower in a MRB and any upgrades will only be either a H or I. But for now I am truly happy with this gorgeous ring...the prongs are perfect, the ring is well made...just really very happy. The service from BGD was fantastic. I initially dealt with Katie and spoke with her one night for over an hour and she was really lovely and very helpful but that was me staying up until 1pm to talk so then with time differences it just became easier to deal with Leslie, which again spoke to once and then communicated via live chat. Now Leslie...I have said it before and will say it again she is just awesome!!!! I changed my mind so many times...seriously many! Not only on setting but actually diamonds and adding bands, then removing them...crazy. But always there to give me the answers, I never felt pressured, and overall felt very comfortable with the whole experience. I will be doing business with them again I can say that much!
Anyway so my phone died and is on charge so I cant post any hand shots or anything yet but I will soon.
