It's been a while I bought something to set.

Took the plunge yesterday when I saw a good icy green in a half cylindrical form which isn't that easy to come by in better quality jadeite.

Slightly over 23mm long. Stay tuned to know what and how I'm designing this to be

The almighty jadeite ring lol. Setter's photos, no closed backing. Thought it turned out well as a statement piece that doesn't break the bank. 18k white gold and 0.007ct melee.

Lovely, restful lavender color, and it’s lovely that the texture does not compete, but allows the color to ‘flow and glow’. Congratulations!

This is my personal favorite, more blue than pink! Sigh...now I really want some better lavender earrings to go with my fav lavender pendant.

Haha it came as a set and those though minuscule are good icy greens that glow. No symbolism but thought instead of putting it at the top where it's more noticeable, to stick it at the bottom as a subtle accent.

Just received my package of bangles. I picked this for my colleague's fiancee and was taking photos for him.

Also another project in the works. This is a small icy cabochon, not what I'd usually go for, but it's a double cabochon and rounded at the bottom too. Im curious to see how the light return effect would be, hence splurging a tad more on the custom setting.
