Hi,

After enjoying so much eye candy from all generous wonderful Pricescopers, I thought I would post some of my collection.

This is a princess cut pink spinel from Gemrite, 4,72 x 4,68, 0,53 cts. The photo is blurry, but the color on my screen is what I see.

This is an aqua from AJSgems 7.96 Cts, 15.60 x 11.30 x 8.10 mm. It is included, and a checkerboard cushion, which I don''t like very much. But I love the color!!!

Here is the same aqua from behind.

Here''s a spess from Dan Stair 1,64 ct, 5,50 x 7,35 mm.

And another...

Very nice!

Here is my wedding ring with a pink sapphire. I remember when choosing it I thought it was so cool to have a pink sapphire. I still love the color, which is darker than it seems in this photo. But for the rest... It is tiny, the cut is bad, it has a huge window and it only sparkles when it''s super-duper-clean and in direct sunlight.

So I''m going to replace it with a violet spinel from John at Gemrite, and keep the sapphire as a memento.

True color of the sapphire.

The violet spinel, John''s picture. This stone grew slowly on me, it changes its appearance in every light more than any stone I''ve ever seen. It is absolutely GORGEOUS.

Here is the first ring I had ever made, it''s still my pride and joy. I knew almost nothing about gemstones. This is an aquamarine heart shaped cabochon with two round amethyst cabochons in white gold. The workmanship is wondrous. I wear it on my middle finger and it''s a showstopper. This aqua also has inclusions, but they are beautiful. The aqua looks like the sky :) Can you tell I love it?

Another.

And the last.

Then there is my newest, a pink tourmaline between two and three carats, precisioncut and set in sterling silver.

And then, the last for now, a gorgeous little pink asscher 5mm, cut by Dan Stair, and his photo also. I adore this one. It sparkles like mad and shoots sparks. This is one I''m going to set this year.

I''ll add others to this thread when I get the pictures uploaded. Thanks for looking!

You have some nice things! I especially like that last tourmaline ring. Yum!

Nice collection. The aqua is a really nice color. I rather have an included dark aqua than a washed out clean one. The spess is beautiful as well.

The pink tourmaline is beautiful and I love that setting. Can you tell me who did the setting?

I love that violet spinel!

Thankyou everyone for all of your wonderful comments, I love to read what you think and your compliments on the tourmaline ring make me feel good, as I'm sometimes a bit doubtful about its color. Cinnamon013 a gold and silver smith in Helsinki did this, his website in English is http://www.claesnystrom.com/en/index.php?section=2 , the tourmaline is set in silver, and the setting was really affordable, at least for a custom setting. He's easy to work with and I suspect his English is good too.

Tourmaline lover I agree about the aquas, I love their colors. (I also for some reason like the type of inclusions in aqua, they look like sea foam to me

) I actually have one more that I got from All That Glitters. Here's the vendor's photo, the color in real life is pure magic. I have yet to photograph it.

Tourmaline lover I'be been meaning to ask you for a candid opinion on the color of my tourmaline, since you have so much experience with them. I wrote in another thread about how I'm actually a little disappointed with the pink in incandescent light, since it browns out to a maroon from a lovely "old rose". What do you think?

The picture is of an aquamarine from All That Glitters, one of last month's purchases. It's 8 x 7mm, under two carats and the color is lovely in person. I have to take more pictures

This aqua has great color!

Pretty stones.

You have beautiful rings and stones. I particularly like the aqua ring. I agree about the inclusions. I have a cheap moonstone ring and the inclusions look like a cloudy sky just after sunset. Best of all is that you can enjoy wearing somewhat less study stones more when you don''t have to worry about them.

Thanks Coati! I''ve noticed that the stones with comments at AJSgems are always especially nice. This one was one stone of three in an order from them, and it was clearly special.

I''m with you on that Fly Girl. I love the sky and seeing it in gemstones is always so nice

I''ve taken some more pics, here they are.

The aqua cushion, the darkest aqua I''ve seen until now in person (which is not saying much, actually

) but I love this one!
