Hello! I have never posted a picture before, but hope it works! I just perchased this CE and never seen one before in person. I was wondering if you could give me your opinions on it''s color. I was suprised at it''s clarity and inner glow. I would appreciate it! Thanks

Does anyone have an idea of what the value would be on this stone? I am curious if I made a good buy. It is .81 cts. Thanks!

Wow, what are you going to do with it?

(I have no idea about price, sorry.)

I love Colombian emeralds. I lived there for a short time so it always reminds me of that. Their color is so vivid. I have no idea about the price bit it would look beautiful in a necklace.

Glitterata, I have no idea yet. Originally I bought to resell. However I was quite surprised as to how beautiful it is! I think I might hold on to it for a bit. maybe resell, maybe keep for my children...

Loriann, I know nothing about emeralds but that stone is gorgeous. The color is so amazing - not too dark, not too light - and the clarity looks AMAZING - I mean, I don''t like emeralds because they are typically inclusion ridden but this one is stunning - I would definitely keep it.

Wow, that emerald is beautiful. I would keep it too. You can always take it to a jeweler and have it appraised. Better yet, ask them how much it would cost to get another one like it.

I would have it made into a pendant. LOVE the color.

Linda, I can''t wait to find out it''s value. I''m really happy with everyones responses. I bought it from Jewlery Television when they slashed their CE prices a few weeks ago. It was under $100.00. I think it was worth it!

I have bought a few things from them too. I was very happy with my purchases. They do have some lovely stones.

Linda

It''s a keeper.

How about a ring with a halo of firey white diamonds (1-2 pointers) to set off that luscious green?

well it''s because it IS your stone, Suller sells mountings, i just used one for round to photoshop your pear into it.

Loriann,

Wouldn''t your stone be beautiful in that setting???? I sure think it would. Emeralds come in all colors, from light to very dark. I prefer YOUR color. I think it is verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr beautiful. The price you paid, WOW what a deal you got. It looks flawless too, what an added bonus. JTV sells beautiful stones.

Please keep us posted if you are going to make a ring or pendant. We are so anxious to hear what you will do with that lovely emerald of yours.

Pricescope...man I feel a bit stupid! No wonder I couldn''t find this ring on their website! Duh! Thanks for the new source..

Linda, thanks again. I really love this stone the more I look at it. That inner glow is truely unique! I think I remember seeing the posts you made about JTV and the red labradorite/andesine. I have recieved so many of those stones in their parcels it''s not funny. Anywhere from a .25 to a 3plus ct. It''s really something to watch, that stone! Too bad that they are getting rid of the "treasure hunt" parcels. I just bought 2 more 60ct parcels. You would not believe some of the Tanzanites I have found in the past mixed gem stone parcels. Have you ever tried one? If not, you should before they are no longer..

Loriann,

No, I haven''t bought one of their parcels. Are they no longer going to sell them? Were their tanzanites dark colors? I always thought they would be really pale, like a light lilac color.

That looks like a tsavorite to me.

Maurice

Maurice,

It does to me also. Thank you for saying so

Linda

Linda, JTV is going to start selling parcels with every stone weighed out and will tell you what is in them so no surprises..so it would be 10 ct of topaz, 10 ct of citrine etc so you no londer can find a rarity. They recently added all new stones incl. tanzanite, diamonds etc. The tanzanite I got were the darker stones. Fun!

HI:

Pretty stone--adore the shape!! Have fun with its setting!!

cheers--Sfharon
