dhltal, the ring is absolutely gorgeous! What is the name of your HOF setting? I have been looking for a split shank with split prongs for awhile, and didn''t see this on the HOF website. Did they do the split prongs custom for you?

First off, sorry for the delay in answering questions and any additional pictures. I have been out of town on business and working on purchasing my first home as well. I will try to answer all the questions, but I''ll start off with this one for now.

Yes, Jenn, this is the 1.637 ACA I SI2 diamond from WF. It is amazing. When I put it side by side with other diamonds, it blew them away, even if they were a slightly higher color or clarity. ACA diamonds are the real deal. I am so glad I went through the time and effort finding a diamond and engagement ring really deserves. If I went with a comparable diamond at a local jeweler, the price would have been easily 2-3k more.

Thanks again for all your great comments and praise. My girlfriend knows I have the ring, but I''m holding off on proposing to her because she was able to participate in the ring shopping process. I basically told her to pick three and I''ll choose the one I want, and of course, I chose the one she was steering me towards, but I have been throwing her curveballs all over the place, so really, she has no clue.

I will come back and answer more of your questions later on.

It is on the HOF website. This is the more rare settings they have. I believe they have only made at most 200 of these the last year or so. Maybe less. This was custom fit for my fiance''s ring size and took about 7 weeks for delivery.

Yes, WF definitely shrugged off all fears for both me and my girlfriend about buying a diamond online. The value is definitely there and you''re getting a high quality diamond. The gf was very speculative, and you have the 10 day return deal, but once she and I received and saw the diamond, there was no doubt in our mind that we made the best and cost effective decision.

Update for you guys:

Took my NOW fiance

to Hawaii last Thursday to this past Monday for a quick 5 day 4 night deal in Oahu. We stayed in the North Shore at the Turtle Bay Resort. I purposed Friday around 11pm after we had a wonderful dinner. We started talking about our relationship and everything and I got her to a point in the resort''s private beach and I got on one knee and I purposed. She spent 3 days with the ring on in Hawaii and many headturns were caused by the ring/diamond.

We took a few hand shots, so please bare with me, as I am at work, but I will post them sometime this evening.

Mind if I ask the ballpark price of the setting? It's a stunner! I've tried it on a couple of times at a local HOF jeweler (that is convient to browse at lunch time) and loved it, but it's priced with a stone already set.

I don''t mind at all. It''s a HOF setting and I purchased it from a local jeweler in my area. You can go to any HOF dealer and get it. If you''re looking for the exact ring, expect a wait as nobody has this ring sitting in their stock pile. I had to wait for 8 weeks for HOF to complete this ring for me with a custom size for my fiance.
