That''s some serious blingage! I really like them together!!

They look great!

That band is great, I love how it has such a low profile and looks like it would be almost completely smooth. Definitely looks very comfortable. And that Asscher is just gorgeous! I love the setting! Thanks for sharing

*drool* Your Asscher is fantastic! I love the setting with the little asschers. It looks perfect with the Crisscut band. I wonder what did you have before for your wband?
I''ll show you my old set soon too. My husband and I designed our engagement & wedding rings together and had them handmade for us so I think it is a really special set.
1.gif

My old ering is a beautful deep blue cushion cut aquamarine with diamond trillions on either side. It has hand carving all over the shank. Many people thought it was a Simon G and it does sort of have that feel. The old wedding band is an eternity ring with princess cut diamonds and handcarving all over the sides. So neither of them were able to be sized.

I''m saving them to give to my beautiful little daughter. I know it will look stunning on her & she always wanted me to let her wear it.

That combo is fantastic it looks as if they were just made to be together :)
Thanks so much! When I tried on the sample crisscut band at the jewelers it was instantaneous love. It just looked so at home on my finger.

Wowsers! Your band is gorgeous, but the Asscher ring just blew me away!
30.gif
The diamond is awesome, and the band is so cool -- great mix of modern and deco. It reminds me a little of the 1920''s inspired Tiffany ring that is sold with an RB, but I always thought should be set with an Asscher. http://www.tiffany.com/Engagement/Item.aspx?sku=21636584
That would look fabulous with an asscher wouldn''t it? And of course I had to peek at the matching eternity bands. (I''m unstoppable!

WOW!!! My dream pairing, emerald cut variations. Your set is exquisite. I''m hoping to upgrade in a few years to an asscher cut which will go with my ec 5 stone and I just love the fact that its going to look both modern and reflect the art deco style.

Renew your batteries, more pics for us to drool over please.
If my dream of a baguette band didn''t work out I was going to go with emerald cuts. What can I say? I''m a step cut maniac!
9.gif
Now if I just add a 5 stone emerald cut band like yours I can have all the step cuts covered.....LOL!

Seriously though, now that I have my eternity band I''m starting to think about 5 stone rings for my right hand....

Gorgeous, gorgeous rings!!!!!

I love both of them! Is the asscher set in a Jeff Cooper setting?

When we picked out my engagement ring, the salesgirl showed us that setting, even though I only wanted to see solitaires. Now that I see yours, I think I made a mistake & should have gone with that one! ;)
I''m SO glad you posted this! It IS a Jeff Cooper - although I didn''t even know that until I checked it out after reading your post. Funny because the night before I had been wondering who made the setting. There is no mark on the inside to give me any clues - other than "plat" of course. So I was stumped.

I bought the ring as is already in the setting. My hubbs and I walked into a store here locally that mostly sells loose diamonds. Then you pick out a setting and they will put it all together for you. They seriously only have like ten rings already made up in one tiny little case. I told the lady that I wanted an asscher in the 3 ct range - told her what I wanted to pay - was told that a 3 ct would be a "bit more" than that (this was before I really had much of an idea of prices on that level) but she said why don''t you try this one on to see if you even like it.

So she gave me the ring and I sat with it on my finger while she went back and brought out some other asschers for me to look at. (Clever clever sales lady!!) I could feel myself falling more and more under it''s spell as the seconds ticked by. That''s what asschers do to me - capture and conquer!
30.gif

It turned out that they only had one other asscher in that size range with the color and clarity I wanted. It had to be brought over from their other store. More time goes by with the ring making itself VERY comfortable on my hand. The significant price difference shock between what I walked in there thinking I wanted to spend & what the ring actually was seemed to shrink quite a bit.
1.gif

The other stone arrived. It was an E color and faced up bigger than my stone. But it didn''t have the same magic for me because it was a much shallower cut. IMHO asschers are all about that depth. So your eye can fall into the stone seemingly endlessly.....
So I ultimately chose the G color, slightly smaller looking stone & haven''t regretted it once.
1.gif

I actually did the same with my emerald cut. Step cuts need that depth people!! That other emerald cut faced up ALOT larger than mine & it was tempting...but in the end I just couldn''t sacrifice that "steppy-ness" for size.

So - long story short (I know...too late!) - I''m so glad you led me to the designer of this setting because someday I want to go up to a 5 ct but I really really don''t want to lose this setting. Now I will be able to get the same setting but with proportions that fit the larger stone!
36.gif

Also - I really think the setting is much much prettier in person than it looks on the Jeff Cooper site. I might have passed it by if I was only seeing it on the site.

This is my favorite close up of the set. I''ll get some shots of the asscher on it''s own so you can see the setting better but the batteries ran out just after this one so ...next time.
2.gif

Asscher specs are: 2.92 cts, G color, VS clarity, set in platinum with a tapered baguette and two teeny asschers set in the shank on either side, finger size 5 1/4.

Please do!! I L

VE IT!! I really, really love it!
And I''ve been wondering about those crisscuts, I really like your band too!

It is totally smooth - insode and out. The low profile has been great to wear - very comfortable. Even though it is wide I hardly even notice I''m wearing it. Other than the sparkles of course. It has that glittery type of sparkle like antique cuts do.

Just the sort of comment I was hoping for because that''s how I feel too.

You guys sure know how to make a gal feel good about her bling! *blush*
Hey, compliments like this are easy to dish out when jewelry of this caliber is posted.

And btw, in my profound adoration for your wedding band, I failed to comment on that Asscher beauty. Devine. Just devine.

*sigh* So jealous.....
**Super Blush!**

We need more pictures!

I just checked out the Jeff Cooper site -- I am adding that gorgeous setting to my memory list in case I ever get the square emerald sapphire or aquamarine I want for a RHR.

They''re both stunning!!

Even my Mom really likes it - and she is a total jewelry killjoy. The woman has gorgeous long fingers, really elegant hands - and hardly ever wears any jewelry. She even has a huge yellow oval diamond flanked with I think trillions on either side. I say I think because I haven''t seen her wear the ring in so long I''ve forgotten what it looks like. Sigh. I''ll never understand where I got my "glitter gene" from!

I hadn''t seen the crisscuts in a band, where did you find yours?

I saw the eternity band on their site & then looked up the jewelers in my area who carried their stuff. I had actually already worked with two of them before so I asked one of them to bring in the sample for me. (The other jeweler saw me wearing the band last week & I think were a bit pissed that I didn''t get it through them.
40.gif
But I knew the other place would give me a better price. It''s kinda scary when the local jewelers know you so well that they can spot your new jewelry. Yikes!)

If we ever meet at a GTG I''ll let you try them on - of course I''ll be sitting on you to prevent your escape. LOL!

Jessica at 23rd Street loves when we get together to design new things because she has the same finger size as me. I think she might be my jewelry twin.

Asschers do have that effect on me. I still remember the first time I ever saw one. I think it hypnotozed/brainwashed me. It didn''t hurt that it was a massive butter yellow diamond either. I campaigned hard to try to get my mother to buy it - my step-dad loved it too. But to no avail. Sigh. I''ll never forget that first asscher love.

I never never thought I''d be lucky enough to have one myself!

And you need to go up to a 5 ct. because............... If I had a 2.92 ct., I would die happy. Superb setting. Perfect for the Asscher.
