the countdown is going VERY slowly . . . four more weeks as of this past wednesday till the ring is done, and that's IF leon manages to get it done on time. (and based on the experiences of another pricescope member, i'm not going to count on that. . . he tends to take a while to complete these projects, apparently.

) and then, once it's done, i STILL have to wait for the BF to pop the question! he says he wants it to be a big surprise, so he may hang onto it for a bit. (plus he's too busy at work to even have TIME to propose.

take it from me, people, if you're thinking of going to law school and working at big a firm in NYC--DON'T. i've never been more consistently miserable in my entire twenty-seven years on this planet.

Oh Reena. Cheer up. A law degree is a fabulous thing to have. A friend of mine got her JD, landed a coveted spot at Wilson Sonsini (big Silicon Valley firm), hated it, quit, gave her parents a coronary, re-examined her goals, joined the Peace Corp, now works for a non-profit and loves life again. You're just getting launched, something will come along that will satisfy your soul!

unfortunately i'm still quite grumpy though. i guess you're right, things will be better eventually. but it's hard when i never get to see my BF because he's at work until the wee hours every night.

MY EYES, MY EYES What a beautiful diamond. I love the way it looks blue in that lighting. I find that fl. lighting is great for diamonds. (crappy for my skin tones) Oh, well. Reena, that is simply a luscious diamond. I am just drooling. Congrats on such a great find.

interesting that you should have chosen today of all days to dig this puppy up--today is six weeks to the day from when i dropped my stone off with leon (and he quoted me 6 weeks to do the setting). which means: it should be done!

now i've just gotta hope that he wasn't delayed, that the dear BF has time to pick it up soon, and that he doesn't delay exessively in proposing! just kidding, i'm happy to wait . . . but so excited to be engaged and see how our creation came out!




my guess is halloween weekend . . . cause i'm such a scary lookin' gal!

ahhh, you guys are so nice. i'm stuck in a hotel in austin on a business trip and i'm all stressed out and then i see these nice posts.

i think he will probably wait until the last weekend in October, which is the beginning of a loooong, much anticipated and much needed 2 week vacation! i am so excited!!! something to get me through the next two weeks of stress. . .
