My dream CER in an amazing Victor Canera Art-Deco-inspired Octagonal Solitaire

Wow!! What a stunning new creation by Victor. Such a unique design and perfectly executed. Would love to see a lot more pics.
I love it that you are so excited about your new ring. She looks gorgeous on you.

Oh My Gosh, I love everything about it. The detail work is amazing!!:love:

Beautiful new VC masterpiece!

I've lost track of all your diamonds pieces that you have accumulated thus far! Can you update us on your current collection (ACA ER, CAC RHR, CER pendant, CBI stone, studs project)?!

Hey Bling Sis, (aka @carbonfan ) ;)2 I’m very happy for you. The ring is really really beautiful and I am thrilled that you have your own custom octagonal VC for your CER. That stone is just stunning. It must be blinding. With all your amazing stones I wish I could play in your jewelry box!

Could I request a lot more pics? Don’t worry about looking for the perfect picture. Just post whatever you’ve taken. That ring is extremely photogenic and looks stunning from every angle.

Can you remind me of your ring size again?

I have always loved octagonal settings and this one is lovely!

Oh gosh, it’s beautiful!! I love alll the details and it looks super comfortable to wear!!

Congrats!

I have seen this ring on Victors IG. I really hoped, it would belong to a PSer, and that I could see more photos of it.
This is an utterly stunning ring with a lot of detail.
Congratulations!

Wow, what an absolutely beauty - stone and setting are perfect for each other

HI:

I am a fan of your carbon also!! WOW!:appl:

cheers--Sharon

Thank you for all of your kind words, @KiloSierra, @dkata, @foxinsox, and @canuk-gal! Victor really outdid himself and I cannot get over the degree of detail that he poured into this creation. It is amazingly comfortable as well... somehow it is substantial and light and airy all at the same time. I feel incredibly humbled to wear this treasure!!

I drooled over that sketch when Victor posted it on IG!! It is just gorgeous! Then when he posted the finished piece, it was just devine! What a stunning stone in a magnificent setting! You have the most artistically beautiful collection @carbonfan! Spectacular pieces! I agree with every word of yours about Victor, and I’m so glad you took the leap of faith on this design! Congratulations and enjoy this very special ring!

Thud.. how beautiful.. it looks PERFECT on you CF.. just perfect. love it.. Congratulations!!!

This is incredible! One of the few examples of antique style rings in which the craftsmanship and detail rivals (even exceeds) the originals! Much props to VC and congratulations to you!

That giant OEC ain't too shabby either ;P

I truly appreciate all of your kind words, @Bonfire, @Tekate, and @elliefire99! I cannot take any credit for the design... aside from a few small preferences this was pretty much all Victor! I seem to have caught the vintage stone and setting "bug," and Victor takes all of that to a whole new level. His work is just so exquisite in every way! Speaking of which, I absolutely love your new VC ring, @Bonfire... it is one of my favorites and I keep going back to the photos! Love it!!

Beautiful!
Love this! Wow!!
Beautiful ring. Congratulations
Just stunning
WOW! This ring is incredible. So many gorgeous details! It really makes a statement. Congratulations!
Your ring is stunning and looks great on your hand. Congratulations.
Amazing... perfection!!!
What a magnificent ring by a true artist!

Thank you so much @BrownGinger, @CHRISTY-DANIELLE, @Diamond425, @Austina, @natasha-cupcake, @Lookinagain, @Rpb, and @sparlie! I feel like everything Victor touches transforms into unspeakable beauty, and I am truly blown away by this masterpiece. This really was a bit of a leap for me and I am so glad I took the plunge. Thank you for sharing my excitement!

It it gorgeous!! Congrats and welcome to the octagonal halo club! ;)2

It's breathtaking. Love everything about this. The diamond, the setting and the super romantic antique feel about it. :kiss2: And it looks stunning on your hand. Another Victor Canera masterpiece.

I am a sucker for octagonal shapes and have always loved @LLJsmom ‘s ring so you can probably guess that I had to pick myself up off the floor just now.

Your ring is unbelievably beautiful. Jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Congrats and enjoy!

Awww, you are all too kind @yennyfire, @missy, and @Tonks! I have been craving an octagonal ring for some time, but wanted to wait until I could pair it with a European cut! I truly am in awe of how perfectly the setting showcases the stone. @yennyfire, I truly adore your octagonal three-stone as well; it is a showstopper! @missy, I will be eagerly following your vintage setting quest and can't wait to see what you decide on for Bubbalah! @Tonks, thank you for sharing in my excitement! @LLJsmom was truly a trailblazer and I absolutely adore her iconic ring... that solidified my love of octagonal designs! Thank you all again for sharing such sweet sentiments!

Utterly spectacular in every element and detail!! So happy it came together for you and you get to wear that gorgeous piece of art!!
How gorgeous!!! Love all the intricate details, so beautifully done  Looks right at home on your hand, perfection!
Oh My Gosh, I love everything about it. The detail work is amazing!!:love:
I have always loved octagonal settings and this one is lovely!

Thank you so much, @rainydaze, @junebug17, @Catmom, and @AprilBaby! Victor's artistry never ceases to amaze me, and I am still somewhat in disbelief that I will get to look at this beauty every day! I am really enjoying the novelty of the octagonal shape, and yet in some ways the ring feels so at home that I feel like I have been wearing it for a while. I truly am amazed by the way everything came together. Thank you all for your support!!

Beautiful! You have such lovely hands to enhance that gorgeous ring!

Gasp, what a beautifully intricate and unique design!! Congratulations!

When I was in his office a mere two days ago, he proudly showed me the pics of your ring and stated that it was one of his favorite pieces to date!

Wow!! What a stunning new creation by Victor. Such a unique design and perfectly executed. Would love to see a lot more pics.
I love it that you are so excited about your new ring. She looks gorgeous on you.
Aww, I really appreciate your kind words @Acinom and @ice empress! @Acinom, I must say that I have admired each one of your spectacular pieces by Victor, and you have definitely been an inspiration to me! @ice empress, I can hardly wait to see your custom cut beauty in Victor's Emilya... it is going to be incredible! Thank you for sharing that story about Victor; I suspect that he has quite a few favorites by now... I mean, how could you go to that level of effort on each piece and not adore every single one of them? This ring is very special, though, and I am so grateful that he was willing to devote such tireless effort to create something new. All of Victor's pieces are amazing... he has so many breathtaking designs in his collection at this point, and every single one of them is gorgeous beyond belief!

It is absolutely beautiful Carbonfan! It looks wonderful on your hand and showcases the stone perfectly!

Is this in addition to your new CBI or does it replace it? I somehow feel like I'm a couple of stones behind!

Beautiful new VC masterpiece!

I've lost track of all your diamonds pieces that you have accumulated thus far! Can you update us on your current collection (ACA ER, CAC RHR, CER pendant, CBI stone, studs project)?!
Beautiful! You have such lovely hands to enhance that gorgeous ring!
Thank you so much @MissGotRocks, @m-2-b, and @luv2sparkle! It took me a while to figure all of this out and I truly appreciate everyone's support and enthusiasm for this new bling chapter! And thank you for your kind words about my hands, @luv2sparkle... I sometimes wish my fingers were a tiny bit longer to balance out my generous knuckles, but at the end of the day I am incredibly grateful to have strong, healthy hands!

@MissGotRocks and @m-2-b, in answer to your questions, I have been mixing things up a bit so it is definitely hard to keep track! I currently have this ring, the CAC RHR, the CER pendant, and the CBI which I hope to set early in the new year (perhaps earlier, but only if Victor has time, as the holiday rush will soon be on and there is not a deadline for this project!). I may continue the studs quest in the new year as well, but I am not in a real hurry, so I may just wait things out a bit. I have a few other surprises in the works that I will be introducing over the next few weeks/months as well! After much contemplation, I decided that the 3ct ACA just wasn't for me... objectively it was a beautiful stone, but it didn't speak to me in the same way that the vintage cuts did, and once I realized that I could use that stone to fund multiple projects, that pretty much clinched it! So she is destined to find a new home where she will be loved and cherished. I feel so much happier and more at peace at this juncture as I have finally discovered what feels authentic and true to me... it just took me a while (and a roundabout path!) to do it! In any case, thank you all for sharing in my excitement!

Hugs to you, @LLJsmom (aka Bling Sis!)! You have been such an inspiration to me, and your octagonal solitaire was the tipping point that started me on this journey! I feel like you have blazed the trail for so many of us on PS, and I am so grateful to you for all of your advice over the years. And I love that we get to be octagonal solitaire sisters of a sort as well! Your ring is so iconic and so incredibly beautiful. Isn't Victor just the best?? He is so incredibly talented and humble and he has the patience of a saint!

And yes, I will be happy to post more pics, although I certainly wish I had your photographic talents! My ring size is a 5, although I think Victor bumped it up slightly due to the tapered band. In any case, thank you again for all of your kind sentiments... you are the sweetest!! (((Hugs)))

Absolutely beautiful! Can we get a heap more close up pictures of the detail? Pretty please?!

Mooooooooooore photos! Gosh it’s beautiful!

Beautiful. More pictures please.

Wow! What a ring. More photos please.

Utter perfection!!!:love::love: Would love to see pics of the gorgeous details on the shank!!! And a family shot with all of your AMAZING pieces wouldn't hurt either!! ;)2

On another note, did you decide what to do with your incredible 2+ ct CBI?
Thank you so much, @Alex T, @leukolenos, @diamondnewbieny, @Queenie60, @ac117! I am still pinching myself as this truly is a dream for me. This ring is so very special and I am still taken aback by how gorgeous it is. And yes, I will be happy to post more photos! (I don't have a family shot right now but I will work on that, I promise!) And @ac117, I have not yet chosen a setting for the CBI... I decided to take a breath after this project, but I will return to that quandary soon!

oh my goodness! what a masterpiece indeed :kiss2::kiss2::kiss2: truly stunning and one of a kind! could never get enouh pics of this beauty!!

wear in much health and happiness!

Beautiful new VC masterpiece!

Thanks again for your kind words, @m-2-b! I just realized that in all of my eagerness to respond last night I neglected to mention that my wonderful collection of eternity bands from Victor (u-cut pavé bands, an alternating french cut band, an engraved band, and most recently a marquise-shaped pavé (scalloped) band) and I adore every one of them! Sorry, I should have included these in the previous post but our oldest was in back-to-back swim meets on Saturday and Sunday and by last night I barely knew which way was up!

Victor's bands are divine and incredibly comfortable as well... definitely deserving of mention! I really enjoyed mixing and matching the bands with my previous solitaire setting, and I plan to set the CBI in a somewhat simple setting that is conducive to a few stacking bands. I also enjoy wearing a combination of three small bands on more low-key days or when I am traveling, etc. Sometimes on busier mornings I just reach in without looking and have no idea which bands I put on until later that day, but the surprise is half the fun, and they are so versatile that they can combine in any number of ways! If nothing else, it is a fun way to change up the look without breaking the bank, which is always a plus in my book!

Thank you so much, @lynahs1295! Victor did a truly amazing job and I feel so very fortunate indeed. I appreciate your kind words so much, and I owe a lot to the PS community for helping me along the way! And the ring in your avatar is absolutely gorgeous, BTW! Just droolworthy!!

As promised, here are a few more photos! I am still deciding which bands best complement this beauty... right now my favorites with it are 1) Victor's engraved band, and 2) a beautifully dainty single cut micropavé band that I purchased pre-loved from @yssie last year, having no idea at the time that I would be embarking on this project! (I never cease to be amazed by how perfectly things just come together sometimes when we least expect it!) I think the octagonal solitaire looks best with a single band or perhaps two really thin ones, but my jury is still out on that. I may look into a slightly thinner engraved band as well, something fairly simple and understated so as not to compete with the solitaire.

It’s beautiful!

it is the emilya from VC with an OEC center  we are lucky to both have rings from victor :kiss2: thank you for your sweet words :kiss2:

I love to octagonal shape and the way you paired it with the band is beautiful! Enjoy and you wear it well!

Wow, I just knew it! It is so gorgeous! And yes, we are both incredibly lucky! Victor's halos (and all of his pieces for that matter) have a distinctive trademark quality and charm to them and I feel like my radar pings anytime I see one of his pieces. In any case, I truly love your ring!!

Aww, thank you so much for all of your kind words @kayla17 and @PierreBear! Victor's work never ceases to amaze me... there is nothing he can't do! My jewelry preferences have definitely evolved over time and it has been quite the journey, but this octagonal ring feels more "me" than anything else I have ever worn and I truly am in awe of it. Thank you for sharing in my excitement!

I am loving those shoulders. That fleur de lis is so sweet. I like how low the whole ring sits. Super comfy right? Yeah. I don’t get how he makes it so detailed yet so delicate at the same time. I love that you are so excited about it.

I am just curious. With all your rings, which one do you intend to be your regular wear as ering piece?

I know, right? Victor just seems to work magic right and left... I don't know how he does it! Each piece is so intricate and substantial, yet light and airy at the same time! And yes, I adore all of the detailing in the profile and that amazing fleur-de-lis (symbolic in a way because we have three children and each of the petals of the fleur-de-lis reminds me of them)! I feel like Victor really stepped outside the box to make both of our octagonal rings so special and I give him serious props for that!! There is something so incredible about each of these works of art and I am truly in awe of everything he creates! :loopy:

This one! Believe it or not, I actually gave up my 3ct ACA... it was a beautiful stone, but it just didn't do what it needed to do for me for the price point, and I really wanted to have a CER as my primary ring. Once I set the CBI that can be an alternate e-ring, and aside from that it will be RHRs. But I have definitely been bitten by the vintage cut bug, that's for sure... it has taken hold in a big way!

the diamonds on the side, the profile, the band. I love all of it!
