Yes, this story is getting bizarre. First the other thread you posted. You find a ring and post as if you just found a diamond ring, and then when someone tells you to try to find the owner, you add, by the way, I found it a few years back, hehehe. And then when everyone tells you to try and find the owner anyway, you suddenly find the owner within a day or something.

Now this thread.

There is no way, unless you are a trusted family friend or relative, that a jewelery store will pop a $20K diamond into your setting knowing you have no intention of ever buying that diamond. Not too mention, there is no way I would let anyone do that to a brand new tacori setting with the potential of damaging the prongs up, been there, done that......

If you really want us to see the ring, you should just post a picture of the setting by itself without a stone, it's simple enough. We would love to see it and you can post a picture of just the setting without getting into trouble for it.

This whole story seems fake. Tacori custom makes their settings to fit the customer''s diamond dimensions. You can''t just order an empty Tacori setting to fit a 1.5 carat diamond because everyone''s 1.5 carat diamond would have slightly different measurements. That''s why they go by the specific dimensions of the stone, not the carat weight.

Better double check that the jewelry store hasn''t charged something on your cards for the 20K diamond.
