It's funny because I ruined DH's (then FI) proposal too. He was planning on opening the door to his car to let me in to be followed by a proposal and I was like "what are you doing, we've lived together for years you don't need to do this. Hurry up it's cold *slam car door*!". He still gives me a lot of grief about it too!
