iota15 - Leon''s prices were VERY competitive compared with other vendors. In my cushion search, I found that there just weren''t that many options available in the 3+ carat, E-G, SI1, not too square, good spread, antique cut range. There were only a handful to choose from!

My understanding is that any of these vendors can source a cushion for you from the same cutters. It seems that there are very few cutters that do the antique cushions, so the market is very small. Leon just happened to source this cushion first for me, though the same cushion could have come from any of the other vendors. Let me know if you would like any more info!

iota15 - I just realized that I didn''t answer your question about the ASET. No, Leon did not provide me with an ASET, but I also didn''t ask him for one so I couldn''t tell you if he can provide one. At the time of my search, ERD did not provide ASETs either, so it was just easier for me to look at a couple of diamonds side by side in person!

Okay, due to peer pressure, here is a hand shot. Please excuse the terrible picture, dry winter hands, and lack of a manicure! Finger size is a 7, but the ring is a 7 1/4 (in case my fingers get bigger with age!) and still fits perfectly. It even fits on my right hand which is more like a 7 1/2? Maybe due to the thin shank I can squeeze it on my right hand too.
