MY NEW 2.2 F VS2 PRINCESS from GOG (lol...again!)

OMG- I just found out the stone's feathers break the surface. Ugh. NOW, I see on GOG that there are no more appointments in store b/c of the renovations...I need moral support. Diamond prices keep going up... I am really at the end of my rope. I should just take the money and put it in savings at this point????
 
Did GOG not know this when they first got and looked at it several weeks ago?
 
No ep....b/c I emailed J and asked him to check right before their vacation which was a crazy time...but I'm not ruling the stone out...It's only got to last me 2 1/2 years

....then we upgrade again for the 5th anniv...hehehehe...What we've decided to do is that I'm going to buy it via wire with the understanding that I'm not a psycho and may be returning this one as well after getting a chance to really look at the stone...so we shall see!

Thanks ep..so do I... my husband is just so fed up with me...I'm really getting on his nerves...now I told him that he has to go to his bank branch b/c his bank doesn't do online wire transfers. I think I heard some four letter words

I don't know why I mentally discounted all tables over 69...probably b/c I AM mental!!! If the GOG stone doesn't work out, I'll expand my search or take a break...

understand how you feel about clarity - i didnt look below VS2 cuz it would drive me mad if i spied an inclusion... and yet i've selected a RB SI2 for my mom's 40th Anni upgrade ring - it's amazing how well RBs hide inclusions!

i admire your loyalty to J... you sure you have no tolerance for slightly warmer tones? my 2.55ct J was under $10K. what if J gets in a really nice G or H...?

Would you believe that it isn't eye clean!!! Leave it to me!!! I have great eyes...it's only visible with the stone lights up (not scintillates) but JUST like the last stone, dark crystals right in the middle!!!!
Would you also believe that this is the third stone I've returned to Jonathan....and upon getting my email that I have to return this one...his reply was simply that he was already working on getting me another...I am amazed at his patience and his goal to please...I was able to see the cert online and it has nothing under the table...a really clean vs2.. That is why I will forever do business with GOG if they will have me!!! The customer service is absolutely stellar...

LOL...no noobie, a vs2 will be fine! But not one with dark crystals right underneath the table in the center and whitest part of the stone!! I don't care about through the pavillion even...I think I found a nice vs2 that J is working on...the table is a lot less than depth and it's almot 73 depth...not sure if the spread is too large but we'll see!

But again, the princess stone had dark carbon in the center of the stone and it was eye visible...this is NOT typical of a Vs2 and I have eagle eyes!!!!! But I really have to tell ya, it was AMAZING....GOG is so great at taking my suggestions for stones I've seen on the net and getting the analysis from the vendor so we alread know the stone has a fighting chance even before we get it..I've got my sites set on a super clean vs2!!!!

I am so sorry that princess didn't work out for you. It sounded absolutely stunning. You and researcher have really sparked my interest in princess stones. Someday I'll have to get one. I am thinking a princess right hand ring and a pendant someday sounds fab.

You'll find one, there is one with your name out there. It just needs to find it's home!

Melanie- lemme tell you...except for the clarity issue, that was one if the nicest stones (of any shape) I've ever seen...when you get a nice one...you REALLY get a nice one! We need more princess lovers out there!

better to take your time and find the right stone then rush into one i'am sure jon will understand so now you are looking at vvs2 ...LOL getting closer to that IF stone by the day,for me a nice VS stone is as good as a IF ,because i'am blind as a bat.imagine i can't see the inclusion in the middle of the table in a 3+ ct si1 rb stone,i know it's there,my mind know it's there so i told jon to keep his eyes open for a VS stone,after you and i work him over, i'm sure he will need another vacation and probably wish he never gone into this kind of business.
