Congratulations!! I have had my jovyn for a few years now and i cant ever see myself changing settings!! All these bands look great with my jovyn. If any appeal to you and you want details, let me know! I can do pics of any band with the jovyn you'd like to see!
How thick is the alternating I’m assuming diamond and sapphire one? I bought a 2.5mm band for $200 and now I’m worried it’ll be a little too thick (2.2mm was what I tried on and liked) but I mean, it was $200… I would love to see it with the plain bands alone too! I was thinking I’d have to go knife edge but I’m liking what you’ve got more.

The diamond and sapphire is 3mm, and, surprisingly l, i like it! I tend to go thinner tho with the jovyn, as you can see by what i have. Here are the 3 plain bands:
David Klass triple wire (i adore this one!)
This one is a spacer that i had custom made on etsy. Its oval, not round, do it has more depth. I can easily find the details, let me know if you want them.
Lastly, this is a vintage irid plat band that i picked up on ebay for $120. This is my favorite by far. I love the vintage feel. Ive seen a similar one recently on loupetroop, i think they are pretty common if you wanted to find one.

You are very welcome!! I am not exactly sure. It was sold to me as 2mm, but id guess its closer to 1.8mm. Its very thin and low profile too!

She does have some pretty bands! Hopefully my recent purchase works nicely and holds me over for a little bit because I should really be on a bling ban.

I agree, she does. I did the same after i got my upgrade and jovyn. I waited and saved over 2 years to get my riviere because its a pricy one. But I had to have it!!!!

Oh the CvB bands are so pretty but each one is definitely an investment! I agree those two band styles with the jovyn look so lovely but understandable to want to find something priced lowerI agree, she does. I did the same after i got my upgrade and jovyn. Fantastic, thank you so much! I’ve been wanting a slim band / spacer that doesn’t sit as low as a spacer typically does and thankfully I remembered reading about your oval band… this sounds perfect !
Photos first cause that’s what we’re here for. These are Caysie’s pics cause I’m too tired and lazy to take my own. They wouldn’t be very good anyway.
I finally caved and got an ACA and asked Caysie to set it in a Jovyn because I’ve loved the setting for years! I requested it be made so that the head can be swapped out as I upgrade and she assured me it could be. It’s a 1.838 K, SI1 ACA. WF was amazing to work with, as always. I’ve been bothering them for a few years at this point probably so I’m so excited to have finally made the purchase. Michelle is so kind and patient. As someone who waffled on finally just buying a super ideal for years, I’m glad I did it. I can’t wait to upgrade way too many times and drive my husband crazy!
Now I need help with getting bands to stack. The Jovyn is so thin that my larger bands looked weird. Anyone have suggestions/ opinions on what mm bands would work? Usually I’d make my husband take me to a jewelry store but I’m trying to avoid being out as much as possible. I thought I had an idea of sizing/ what I wanted but then I remembered that I’m actually kind of awful at judging these things. Instead of wasting time/ money buying/ returning/ selling I figured I better just ask for help.
I know I want yellow diamonds and colorless diamonds. Maybe an aquamarine band if you all think that could hold up? And a step cut diamond band. I don’t need them all right now, of course.
I love the curved basket on the Jovyn… can you explain what you mean by having the setting made such that the head can be swapped out? Does that mean the jeweler can laser cut the head at the cathedral shoulders and then put a bigger head in and then solder it up?

I have no idea how she intends to do it but she confirmed that the setting was made so that the head can be changed when I upgrade.
