My New CVB_ID Masterpiece

This project has been highly anticipated. I purchased the trillion Rose Cut Diamond from Caysie last year. I knew when I first saw the trillion that I had to have her. She is a 8.91mm by 8.6mm trillion VS L color Rose Cut. It called my name when she originally posted the loose stone early last Spring.

Before I purchased it Caysie set it in a setting and I purchased that setting. I decided before it even shipped that I wanted a more intricate setting. I had saved the inspiration ring a while back and even discussed setting another stone in this style. I went ahead with my Anjolie ring at that time and came back to this around the same time another PS member created a setting based on the inspiration piece. It was for a pear and gorgeous. This will be a right hand ring.

I decided to go with 18k Yellow Gold and a platinum inner bezel. There had to be some adaptations because of the stone shape and I went with Ruby accent stones.

Just off the bench.....my ring. I am going to call her Victoria. As always, working with Caysie was amazing. She is such an artist and always listens to all of my ideas and visions. She has the amazing ability to rein me in and create such beautiful pieces of art. I look forward to more projects with her in the future. It seems I always have something going.

So pretty and unique. It reminds me of the fancy crests they have in England for the royal families! Definitely an heirloom piece!

Thank you. I always feel like the rings Caysie makes are definitely heirloom pieces. I always look forward to the next project. My husband says this reminds him of a victory shield.

Now that I have had a half day to wear Victoria and learn her personality....I just adore her. She is different than my Anjolie because she is much whiter versus buttery. However, she also picks up huge flashes of color and just simmers constantly like light on the surface of water. It is really one of my favorite things about Rose Cuts. There is a tranquility in their performance. Clearly, I am a huge fan. I did include a few hand shots (which aren't my favorite because my hands are rough after a horse show weekend). Please excuse my hands. I had a hard time picking pictures because they all shimmered a little differently. I love that both of my Rosies pick up so much of their environment. Thank you !! Yes they are rubies. They felt right for the setting. I was a modern diamond girl before and now I only wear rose cuts most of the time. Its definitely worth checking them out.

You have 2 of my most favorite rings of all time. They are beyond gorgeous, they just don't get any better than this !Literally!.....this makees me excited to get my earrings back from Caysie.....Also, this is random but is there a yearly SoCal PS get together? I remember the Texas one but I can't travel with my kiddos school schedules etc

Wow, amazingly beautiful! It even looks like a queen. With the pointy side down, it looks like a face, with a crown on top and she's wearing a cape or something with collars. I don't usually look at rose cuts because it looks like crystal to me, but this is breathtaking. Thanks for sharing!
