By the way, Enerchi, what does cut down pave mean? i am not too familiar with the term. I know it is very different from my other rings..in fact the diamonds are tinier than what I expected but the overall effect is a lot of flash.

I can't remember which of the vendors/sales people described it when I was in both NYC and Chicago this last trip, but the 'notching' design around each of the individual melee diamonds, is the simplest way to say it. Just like what your ring has!

Initially I thought the double halo would overwhelm the yellow diamond but since it is so delicate it really compliments it.

Oh you should totally go for it! It is so delicate..I think so anyway It doesn't seem overwhelming though today when I was driving back with the Sun shining on it it was brilliant and fiery!
