I loooooove cats. I remember when I young, my sister and I found some kittens dumped in the ROW behind our house. We took them in and begged our mum to keep them but she wouldn''t let us

FI would prefer a dog but we would not be responsible dog owners so we''re going to get a cat instead.

In Australia, there''s a guide dog program where you look after puppy labradors but have to hand them back to the GD association after a certain age - I wouldn''t be able to bear having to give them back as they are my favourite dogs.

Moremoremore, Yes we do have cats of our own, buthey never get to meet the fosters. The SPca says it''s best to keep them seperate so the fosters always live in the guest room.

Some bad news mama cats cold has gotten worse. I have been giving her antibiotics but it doesn''t seem to be helping so tomorrow they will go to the SPCA for a check up and if it''s bad they may keep them over night. I''ll up date any interested people in the family section of the forums. Poor mama cat. The head of foster care at the SPCA says most of the mama cats that have come in so far have been in poor health. I hope this isn''t a bad start to this years kitten season for the shelters.
