My new rubellite ring is finished!

I just screamed into the driveway sporting my new rubellite bling ! It''s an Antique Cushion Concave brilliant cut by Richard Homer.

11.6 mmx 10.2mm x 8.3mm
Setting is custom from Guy Blando Jewelers in Chicago; 18kt with hand engraved details !
Love it !

Rubellite is the trade name for red/pink tourmaline.

Very pretty Blue eyes. I have a heart shaped rubillite in a enhancer I set myself. However mine looks more dark pink/red than yours which appears in the photo to be more purplish. Is this an effect of the Homer cut, or is it just my monitor?

IMO it's your monitor. My monitor doesn't do the stone justice either !!

The stone has incredible saturation and, in person, is a rich, deep cranberry.

In a perfect world, PS folk could start a mail chain. Circulate our trinkets and treasures amongst ourselves via the US postal service, etc, so that we could personally inspect and "ooooh" and "ahhh" over eacher other's gemstones !!!!

YOur rubelite is so lovely! Yes, on my screen it looked like Win said, very purplish...I saw a ring today in rubelite with a beautiful cabochon cut and a lovely cat's eye....Oh wow! I want a concave cut stone TOOO!!!!
