I have yet to share anything in the show me the bling forums, but spent a lot of time the last month or so in the Rocky Talky section. In short...I have the most patient fiance in the universe. He originally let me pick out my ring....but we were about to buy a house and I wanted to go modest so I choose a .80ct Princess cut in a tiffany style solitaire setting. Less then a year later I was bored with it and thought jazzing it up into a 3 stone setting would do the trick....gulp.....nope....so now here a mere 9 months later in receipt of my brand new e-ring...a 1.366ct, G color, VS1, AGS Ideal, ACA Princess by WF ...set in their Legato Micro Pave setting with matching halo band..... (It's amazing that my fiance still wants to marry me!!)
Words can not express how magnificent this stone is. My .80ct can not even begin to compare to this....there are no words. Honestly.
I will admit, my size 7 fingers are not doing me much justice...and I still long for a larger stone...but the fire and brilliance of this one is simply amazing. I took it outside for a few moments, tried it on and have put it back in the box for now. Strangely enough, I am hesitant to wear it....what I am afraid of...I am unsure!
In any event....here are a ton of photos...some with the e-ring alone, a couple good fire shots (not too shabby for a princess cut!), a few with the matching band and a few comparison shots between the old and new ring...
