ETA - ok, after seeing the handshots..this ring is STUNNING! Love the color of that PAD and the setting is perfect for the stone.

Daughter''s initials - it''s her ring after all.

WOW, that is tiny! Like 1.5mm?

OK, OK, HANDSHOT!

Another...

One more?

Oh my goodness! That is the most beautiful, perfect ring I have ever seen.

How''s bouta shot with my ering, so you can see the TOTAL difference in styles? E-ring hasn''t been worn in ages...nor cleaned.

Just gorgeous! It looks perfect on you and the ering is gorgeous too! I am still struggling to see what is wrong... could it be that the shank is a little thinner than you would like??

An incredibly feminine ring and very beautiful. Is that a scratch / gouge on the inside of the ring near the initials or am I imagining things?

Another one of the duo. E-ring is not liking her already, because she''s on my LEFT hand! (finger got porky after the kid.

It''s so beautiful and elegant! When I read you thought it was "meh", I wasn''t sure what to expect. This is stunning.

Nope, that''s the photo. Not a scratch inside the ring that I can see with the loupe...

Back to posting a few more pics...

OK, had to take ONE pic on a toy of some description.

And lastly, 2 more. I discovered that for pads, shooting into the mirror for a handshot works better because this pad is really bad at reflecting back the darkness of the camera lens. Overall, I''m happy to say she wasn''t too fussy with me today, so the shoot didn''t take long.

Her colors in this one are fab.

ETA: Should specify, as you're posting them so fast

Tgal, I have to say you''re having GREAT success in getting the camera to capture BOTH the pink and orange colors of the stone. I find that to be one of the most challenging things about photographing pads.

The color in this stone is just perfection.

One more, next up after this one, what is "wrong" with the ring...

This is a perfect setting for that gorgeous pad

I LOVE it. It is perfecion all the way.

It looks beautiful on your hand, I do hope you will wear it.

chip? Scratch??............. I hope not.... I still can''t tell!

So...I louped it and once noticed by the loupe and macro photos, this is VERY easy to see with the naked eye.

One prong is noticeably longer than the other. The profile is NOT symmetrical. My heart pounded very hard for a few moments, let me tell you!

Here is the pic. You can see the left prong is longer than the right. The other side isn''t 100% even either, but this side is more noticeable.

And hold off on comments until I come back in another minute or two...
