My spinel from Dan Stair

Just wanted to share: my little purple spinel from Dan Stair came the other evening. I took a few pictures in lamp light, and some in day light. It''s really hard to capture that color, but anyway, I just love it! Even my hubby was admiring it. Eventually, I''m hoping to put it into a RHR as a graduation gift for myself.

Lauren, your yellow sapphire ring reminded me a lot of a ring I initially saw at a local B&M when I was tentatively e-ring scoping (pre-Pricescope days). It inspired me to try to recreate it, but with a more budget-friendly center stone/possibly a LOGR setting. Thanks!

I haven''t had a chance to take any photos of my emerald cut spinel, but it was up on Dan''s site just before christmas a 1.17ct which I think he described as medium blue ? It looks like yours just a different colour! I look forward to seeing your completed ring! I don''t have the funds to set mine for awhile
