My very own yellow gold frenchie ring!

That's one awesome ring! Loooove the yg!

Those stones are really set to their best advantage. I bet they catch the sunlight like crazy. Very nice with your plain gold band too!

This is my absolute favorite french cut band. The stones are large enough to see the cut and are like ice! Prong set instead of channel set really shows them off. Now I will be waiting for a shot of the frenchies with the gorgeous new OEC!! Pretty please?

Love it! Especially the yellow gold--- nice touch! :lickout:

Those stones are amazing! They make a beautiful ring!

I have no words.

I love this. The yellow gold looks amazing

Ooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Me wanty.

Thank you so much for your compliments everyone! I've been quiet because I spent all day traveling to pick up my re-set OEC (simple 6-prong YG setting, but I didn't want to pay the big bucks for insured shipping), but I'll reply individually tomorrow. :wavey:

I love them, Gem!!! The yellow gold is just perfect with them!

That looks really beautiful! I'd love some fire shots - they look so white and glowy!

Gorgeous!

Gemfever, that is a GORGEOUS ring!! Congratulations for making it happen!! Love it in the yellow gold.

I love how hard you worked for this ring! It turned out so beautifully! Such a showstopper...I just adore it! :appl:

Okkaayy, GemFever! What is biggie, warmie
OEC :naughty: ?? Is it too big to have a new thread??

 stunning! I'm glad it all paid off :)

Ohhhh I just LOVE that!!!

Thank you so much Dee*Jay, motownmama, bastetcat, gregchang35, lin_ny, SandyCheeks, lorrissey, MissGotRocks, almondblossom, armywife13, Enerchi, lknvrb4, yennyfire, missy, Acinom, Smith1942, Gemmy123, IE_Princess, canuk-gal, kenny, nowicanseethemoon, kalomeli, backwardsandinheels, derbygal, tyty333, cygnet, Scarlett1, Rosebloom, heraanderson, missymoo, sparks1007, LLJsmom, valmanin, Venti25, dragonfly411! -- Half the fun of getting a new sparkly is posting on PS, and I appreciate every comment! I would have never even known about french cuts (or OECs, for that matter) without PS, so I'm happy to finally be able to add my own to the collection here in SMTB. ::)

woofmama -- Thanks :)) Yellow gold is pretty yummy, isn't it? :lickout: It cheers me up to look at it, especially the particular shade of 14K yellow gold, which has just a tinge of rosy color. I like!

junebug17 -- Thanks! Life is indeed quite good ::) It was a coincidence that the frenchie ring was finally done and within a couple weeks I found my long-term upgrade. I will post pics soon!

SB621 -- lol, I admire you for not catching the FC bug ;)) thanks for the compliments!

Laila619 -- Thank you! It's 14k yg. I keep thinking about doing stuff in 18k, but I like the rosy shade of 14k. And how budget-friendly it is :))

Confection10 -- thanks! I'll be posting my OEC story soon too, maybe within this week + weekend. I want to get some PS-worthy glamour shots first ::) It's been quite a journey for me with all the OEC upgrades, and I've ended up with a bigger (2.5cts) and warmer (S-T) stone than I ever imagined. I love it!

blingymo -- thanks! I'm glad prong setting worked out. Since the stones weren't perfectly calibrated, the more traditional channel setting wouldn't have worked. So it was either individual bezels, or prong-setting. I think both could have been cool, but I'm very happy with the prongs. I love looking at them in profile, it's almost my favorite view!

Oh GemFever; those stats sounds incredible. I hardly can wait when You're ready for posting!

OH my I am so happy to finally see this band come to fruition!!!! I love the yellow gold, it gives it such a rich and regal look. I don't think I've seen any yg french rings yet!!! It looks perfect on you :)

Missed this thread but found it because I saw it in your new OEC thread! Both rings are just gorgeous!   Gotta love those french cuts!

Thanks DS! The poor band is not getting any lovin' since the OEC came around. I need to be a little more fair and take it on some nice outing :))

Thank you pandabee! I struggled a bit over white metal vs. yellow metal, but yellow won over in the end. I have a full set of YG stuff now, so I'm ready to give white metal a try when I get my next piece. I'd love to get a true vintage Art Deco RHR someday.

Wow! What an unique eternity! Love it :appl:

Beautiful! Welcome to the club!! :wink2:

edited to add: Just read back on the rollercoaster thread. WOW! Where have I been?? Totally missed the rest of the story. Glad it had a happy ending.

OMIGOD, HOW DID I MISS THIS!?!?

Obviously, I must have been mad. I've been looking forward to seeing this baby for literally months, and, oh, my, does it just meet and then exceed expectations! The stones are beautifully cut, and the size does wonderful justice to the cut: I think they're amazing either on their own, or complementing the wonderfully lovely OEC you're sporting.

Seriously, though, the best part? How determined you were to find the perfect french cuts, and how it paid off in spades. I LOVE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS.

Definitely one my favorite bands on PS>

Thank you so much Circe! I'm glad you saw the thread because I really appreciated your support throughout my search. I agree that it is pretty awesome when projects like these come to fruition ::)

Thanks pregcurious! :sun:

Thank you Ashleigh and Vinjewels! (I'm so glad to finally be in the frenchie club! ;)) )
