I LOVE that store!! I try to go in there every time I get to La Jolla. They expanded and it's soooooo much bigger now. I've never really played that much in there, but since I live here, I am going to do a lot more of that!! Thanks for the eye candy show.

I am also one of their ebay fans! I have seen a few of these pieces on there. I keep telling my dh that we need to have a weekend alone in San Diego when the kids are a little older and can stay with my MIL. Maybe by next year. Then I can drag him along with me to look at sparklies. haha

Sorry guys, no I don't have any additional details than what I provided. I really wasn't going there with a purpose to take a million photos, or ask a million details about price, since I wasn't purchasing. I wasn't even holding my breath that they were going to let me take any photos at all. I was hoping to see the 3.2 ct OEC and be lucky enough to sneak just a few shots of that one from my phone… Serena herself mentioned to "feel free to take photos if you'd like" while I was trying them on. If I knew she'd be so gracious, I would have done the pieces some justice! Our DSLR was in the car! I didn't want to seem like a psycho coming in to steal styles, or something, with a huge DSLR around my neck Besides, you guys wouldn't trust me with price quotes, anyway. I'd lie and overprice everything so they don't sell, so they can be on the shelves forever, go on sale, and I can buy them ALL, muahahaha!

I'm glad I went in, though, besides for the obvious perks of getting all this bling ****. I'm applying to a few graduate programs nearby, and would hate to drive all the way back to Los Angeles for a competent antique refurbisher/jeweler. 2-3 years of grad school can't go by without a purchase!

Mandalise, I just went for my visit on Thurs. I loved it. I was stunned by the beauties in the window of the main store, and found quite a bit I loved in the second. Oh my gosh, were there some beauties. I can't wait to go back and purchase. I saw a gorgeous white pearl
pendant with three colored stones, and I would love to have that piece. (swoon). I also saw a few lovely ruby pieces, including the one
you photographed. What fun.
