Beautiful pieces! You are a lovely bride!!! Congrats on your marriage!

My wonderful husband and I got married a little over 2 weeks ago! I feel so fortunate to be married to my favorite person in the world...and really happy to get settled back into normal life after all the wedding and minimoon festivities!

Obviously, jewels were my priority when it came to my wedding day fashion! I got an amazing deal on my dress and put those funds toward jewelry instead!

First, my new (but old) married lady stack!!!! My wedding band is the plain one in the middle. It's platinum, 2mm, midcentury vintage with sweet milgrain on the edges. We had it engraved inside with out initials and wedding date and I love that it's simple and stackable! The floral band was a great Art Deco find that we bought on our minimoon in New Orleans right after the wedding! I had a blast browsing the antique jewelry stores on Royal Street and every time I look at this band, I'm reminded on the amazing week we had there!

This vintage 1940s Hamilton 14k and diamond watch was my major gift to myself. I feel so glamorous when I wear it and have worn it to a few events since the wedding too!

I wore this OEC filigree
brooch in my hair and Victorian OMC cluster dormeuse earrings.

And on my right hand, I wore an 18k garnet cluster ring that I inherited from my great grandmother. We were both January babies and I have so many memories of her wearing this ring. She lived to be 101 years old, so I was very lucky to have been able to spend a lot of time with her! I loved the way the garnets mirrored the deep burgundy flowers in my bouquet!

And now just one more of my dress and my gorgeous bridesmaids and bridesman :kiss2:

What a gorgeous bride you are! The pics are fantastic and I love your jewels! I especially love your watch as I gasped out loud that I have the same one!!!

Not to hijack your post but I am honored to have the same watch as you! 20190721_161005.jpg

:love::love: YES!!!!! I love it so much! You have such beautiful taste! How often do you wear yours? Since the wedding, I've worn it once (to another wedding). I know I can wear it when I go to the opera...but most summer festival operas are less formal and it feels out of place. I'll go pretty much anywhere to have an opportunity to get dressed up!

GREAT wedding jewelry collection! LOVE that you wore a family ring. TFS!

I wore mine yesterday since I saw your thread but honestly, because the clasp is so fragile, I worry that I may lose it so I don't wear it as often as I would like. It works too but it doesn't keep time.
