"Mystery of the Hope Diamond" on TV, 11/21/10

The documentay, "The Mystery of the Hope Diamond" will be shown on the Smithsonian HD channel on Sunday 11/21/10. On the west coast, the program will be shown at 5:00, 6:00, 8:00 and 9:00 pm. Not sure about the east coast. Should be interesting.

Darn, we don't get Smithsonian. Would like to see it -- if it isn't full of silly stuff about curses. Bound to have some dynamite close-ups of the stone. Its new setting sure didn't thrill the reviewer whose article I read. I like the old one better too. Also loved that Evelyn McLean used to hang it around the neck of her Great Dane when people came to visit.

I don't get that channel either. I called Directtv and added a HD package that includes the Smithsonian HD channel for additional $4.99 a month. I can always cancel later. You may also try the Smithsonian website as the full program may be posted after the program has aired on TV. Currently only the 'teaser' is posted.
