need aquamarine recommendations

Long story short - I''d like to have a nice aquamarine stone put in my e-ring setting, and am having a really hard time finding one. It''s both of our birth months and our anniversary month, and I''d like to set my diamond in a pendant necklace instead. (I know, I''m crazy but I feel pretty strongly about this and have been thinking about it for awhile).

anyways...anyone know where I should look? It''s a 7mm x 7mm setting with a 1.5 ct stone in it now, so the shape is making it more difficult.

I''ll be back in NYC in two weeks and am wondering if I should just hit up someone in the diamond district.

what shape of a stone do you have in the setting now? You might have to replace the head on your ring if you want a different shape.

You might consider checking in with some of the custom gem cutters that post here on pricescope, such as Daniel Stair (http://www.customgemstones.com/). Since it's going into a very special setting, wouldn't it be cool to use a stone that was cut just for you?
