Need help deciding between two GCAL 8x Lab Rounds for Tulip Setting

Not sure I understand what your ask is, here...and I apologize, I haven't had any coffee yet.

Would you pay the extra $1K and go with the lower number?

I’ll pay the extra if you say its a better one

Yes, get your coffee, lol.
There was one diamond that the price was too good to be true, and I’m torn between that one and the size of the one that is .1 under. Make any sense?

I understand now! Thank you for clarifying.
Well, it looks like the lower priced options may have gotten sold.

Did you get my last message before I deleted?

I was really hoping that you did!
No, I don't think that the higher priced diamonds would necessarily translate to noticeably better diamonds since all of them are so well cut and proportioned. Wanted to give you a drcent list of the best that I found within your stated budget. :)

Awesome! I was hoping youd say that. Will this shine like Lurker’s?

It should mesmerize you every time you look into it.

Yay!! Thx. Question - You didnt see anything due to the VVS2? Do you think it would look good in the “Dahlia” setting, 14K YG?

If the crystal is high quality HPHT and any inclusions are positioned in a manner to not be obviously visible, then most well cut and proportioned diamonds are fine up to VS2-SI1 (even for larger carat sizes). Any VS1+ will be eye-clean with microscopic inclusions, if it was accurately graded.

I have no clue what you just said, but when you looked at it, it was nice and white and sparkly?

You bought 0606, correct?

If yes, then there's nothing wrong with it - it is a very well cut and proportioned diamond with a nice tall crown height which should definitely help boost sparkle and fire in direct lighting conditions:

Or is 3145 better?

Relax - you have a great diamond coming your way.
Diamonds have two appearance depending on the type of lighting that they are in.

1. Indirect lighting: brilliance/white light return (ICE)

2. Direct lighting: dispersion/colored flashes of light (FIRE)

Then there's mixed lighting, which is a combination of indirect and direct.

This diamond will be a scintillating sparkler!

Whew!! Thx. Do you think it will look good in the Dahlia setting?

Do you think 3145 is better than 0606?

I like 0606 better for the slightly larger diameter and the 40.7/34.9/55 combo and slightly taller crown height.

Good morning, can you please do me a favor? Can you check one more time to see if there is or has been anything newly added that would scintillate more than 0606? Pls

Sure thing - it'll be a while, as I'm on a remote service call fixing a USB subsystem issue for a coworker.

Hi, Sunshine812 - sorry for the delay...I have some time to post the links, if you are ready to copy and save them.

Some of these may be repeats from earlier lists, but unsure since I didn't go back and check.
Any of these would be an absolute firebomb, in my opinion.
