need help selecting a diamond for engagement ring under 4k

Hi All,

I'm completely new to diamond I'm trying to buy a princess cut engagement ring for my girl friend . I've spent the last couple days browsing online and I've come to a list of candidates

I understand it's hard to select a diamond based on the numbers, but are these considered good diamond based on the price?

Both are lovely. But I would drop to an eyeclean G SI1/VS2 unless there is a cultural reason for the F VS1. You won't see any difference in color or clarity and it will allow you to go up in spread.

In the sizes you are looking at a little bit of carat weight can make a big difference is visible spread.
