Both could be very nice. If you are ordering sight unseen, the second would be a bit safer.

They''d both be winners, unless one''s not eyeclean.
 
I dislike diamonds which have weights of 1.00, 1.50, 2.00 etc.

They are discounted in the trade since if they are damaged you go down a size category in Rapaport when they are repaired.

Also, I always have the sneaking suspicion that they have been "pushed" in the cutting to get into the higher table to get that "magic" weight.

I call it the 6'' height syndrome, somehow 5 feet 11 & a 1/2 inches doesn''t sound as good...

Same feelings for .01''s as well but not as strong...... give me a nice and meaty 1.03+, 1.53+ etc

I''ve never heard it explained like that but it makes sense.
