Hi Everyone

I am in the process of trying to pick out an everyday diamond bracelet. Just looking for any opinions since you guys do know your jewelery!!

My thoughts are:
I don''t like bangles. I can''t spend the money on the 5CT tennis bracelet I want so this is the the designs I came up with. Opinions greatly appriciated!

A bracelet like the diamonds by the yard except it would have either a 0.10 ACA round aletrnating with 0.05 round or 0.10 princess for a total of 14 stones in the bracelet. TCW between 1.05 and 1.40

Do you think it would be better with all rounds or alternating round and princess? Or any ther ideas??

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Personally, I don''t like the idea of both rounds and princesses. I would stick to one or the other. I prefer rounds for a bracelet because they have more sparkle.

Go with lots of small Rounds in a shared prong setting, not 4-prong which will be too much metal and will overshadow the stones. But if that's above your budget then only rounds in the diamonds by the yard i'd say.

I think the idea of alternating round and starset princess'' might be nice, but not square-set (if that makes sense). I also like the idea of alternating .05 and .10 rounds.
Ultimately, you''re the only one that has to be happy with it.

Can''t wait to see what you decide.

When I was looking for bracelet, I couldn''t afford the full on tennis either. I tried on the diamonds by the yard, and thought that was what I wanted, but the stones end up flipping around, so your looking at the bottom.

I ended up having something made that allowed me to add in .025. That also gave hubby clear direction every anniversary until it''s full, well all 9 spaces.

I also thought about different cuts, but ended up with all rounds, they sparkle more. :-)

Good luck..

Ok now I am thinking that the DBTY maybe is not the right thing. I don''t like the flipping idea.

I keep going back to Flower12''s 3CT tennis barcelet and thinking that maybe that would be just right.
I do want to be able to wear it everyday and not be too over bling. Maybe 3 not 5 would look good they would be ACA melee.....

It''s a bit more than I thought I would spend but........

I love that pic you posted - it looks like the diamonds are bezel set in which case I wouldn''t mind the flipping at all - I love pavillions!! from that side they kinda look like pointy rose cuts LOL

I also like the anniverary idea where it gets added to each year!! I hope they post a picture of it!!

I have a five stone Tiffany DBTY bracelet and I love it. The total carat weight is .41 pts. Yes, the bezels do flip around sometimes, but if you use well cut stones you still get sparkle on the pavillion side. I louped all five of the diamonds in my bracelet and I can see a crisp arrow pattern in each of them...even though they are only eight pointers! The diamonds look much larger since they are bezel set. I love how they look like they are just floating on my wrist and I get compliments on it all of the time.

Originally I was thinking of the same three carat bracelet that Flower has, but fell in the love with the DBTY style and thought it would fit my style more for daily wear...not that I would mind owning the three carat, three prong bracelet for special occassions.
