I have a Spirit of Flanders round engagment ring in my possession that I am finally ready to sell. I am uneducated when it comes to diamonds so I have no idea where to start. I was wondering if anyone can assist me in letting me know an approximate price and where to begin selling it. I have read a bunch of posts however i was wondering if anyone knows of the best place for me to market this, I would greatly appricate some advice.

Spirit of Flanders
.93 carats
6.31x6.28x3.99 faceted
F
SI1

I also have a certificate of Registration from Adis, diamwag, gemprint.....?

This diamond is in a platium setting with pave diamonds. I am looking to sell it all.

Thanks!

Thank you mrssalvo

...I saw that post, but I have no idea what the wholesale value would even be! If I can figure out how to put a picture up here...I''ll put one up of the ring as I have no idea what I''m really talking about.

are they even still cutting flanders anymore? you just don''t hear too much about the cut. anyway, you could always have the ring independantly appraised for it''s retail value and the appraiser may have some advice for you as to selling. Also, you might consider Pearlman''s Jewelers. they are a pricescope vendor who will consign peices on their website which would give the ring internet exposure that it might not get locally. I''ve consigned a couple of rings with him and we agreed on the selling price and then they take 15% of the sale price as a consigning fee.

What''s confusing me is that she says it''s a round...

I think spirit of flanders (round) is different than the actual flanders cut (square)

is that redundant? is sprit of flanders only round...again, you have to forgive me.. i have NO IDEA what I''m talking about with this stuff!
