Xchick,
don''t forget that David''s Bridal lets you take pictures...at least the one I visited did.
Please take pics!!!!! We love pics!!!!

I love #1! Make sure to take pics of you in the dresses and show us! David''s bridal appoinments are 1 hr each. They will let you try on more if there is time left. I was able to try on about 5 since I was the last appointment of the day. The lady that helped me was really nice!

I''m so excited, it''s finally Sunday and I''m going to try them on later today. I''m sure I''ll be taking lots of pictures.

I'm such a geek- I went on a Saturday morning, no appointment, and tried on four. :-) No one told me I had a time limit but I'm pretty quick to decide so I was in and out of the dressing room in about a half hour.

I love #1!!! That could work for just about whatever kind of wedding you decide on. I also love #3 and it's even pretty in person because you can see the small detailing at the waist. It's very float-y and ethereal. #7 would be my third pick.

I tried on #4 but I think it was a different color- must have been ivory with taupe details. It was really pretty and I like the drop waist, but since I'm bigger I liked the draping effect of the dress I eventually chose. It was more slimming. You should try this one on if you have the time- it's really a bit different and pretty on you than on the rack.

Have a wonderful time!!

I love #1 and #4. I tried on #1 and it was too big for me to look flattering but my mom loved it and on the model I think it''s just beautiful. I love the shirred detailing and it has embellishment, but not all over which is nice. I think it''s a little more special than the traditional satin strapless ballgown so many brides get, but still classic. I love #4 too but I think it''s fancier depending on the locale where you''ll marry. Good luck - you''ll have fun! (and I bet you''ll try on more than 3 too...)

Okay well I went and it wasn''t nearly as much fun as I thought it would be. The bra thing I had to wear was the most uncomfortable thing ever. And most of the dresses I really liked didn''t really look that great. Well, they looked okay, they just werent really me. The ones that looked really good were 3, 7 and one I saw there that was cute. http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=1212&prodgroup=10

I think I liked 3 the best, but I have to go back in a few weeks with my mom.

Sorry you didn''t have fun with your dress trying on.

Hopefully, you will have a better time with your mom along.

Do you have pics of you in #3? Is that the one you are leaning towards, or are you hoping to find something that really speaks to you?

Maybe before your next trip, go to Victoria''s Secret or somewhere like that and get a strapless bra that is comfortable and take that with you for the fitting/trying on.

Good luck!

Yeah, I am definitely going to try a different bra. I am leaning towards #3, it was very simply yet still elegant and I couldn''t believe how comfortable it was. Plus, it was very light which will be great for my summer wedding.

I know I promised pictures but my BMs and I were just so busy, we remembered the camera but forgot to charge it, so it died 10 minutes are we got to DB.
