I very much agree with this! My exfiance promised to change more times than I care to count or remember! I dodged a big ole' bullet and I think in time you will see you did too! I felt like it was a rush with my ex - I wanted to be the first of all my friends to get a diamond and I know now, I really didn't care who it was from!

I'm sorry about the breakup. Sadly, I think it's for the best. Try to take some time to yourself and figure out what YOU need and what YOU want and go from there. Be wary of his attempts to get you back if they come. Change is more than words. Make him prove he's changed if you decide to go back. And give it enough time that it's clear it isn't just a show to win you back and during that time keep yourself unattached to him. You'll be fine.
