New bag...yay or nay?

I love everybody''s designer bags but don''t own any myself - can''t justify getting myself one - definitely have more things I should be spending the money on. But at $200ish dollars, and wearing that bag as long as you do, you definitely deserve it and it''s a good investment. Not very expensive, and you get your money''s worth. In that price range, I''d definitely do it.

I finally got one, and I got it at the outlet. It was $60 less than the mall...and I got the cleaner and conditioner with it. I''m loving it! I found the same one used on EBay that cost more than I paid at the outlet, so obviously they keep their value!

Ya gotta treat yourself sometimes, and a purse is something that you use everyday!

I say get the bag! You will be so happy with it. I have a used coach bag and last year bought my first new one for $199 which I absolutely love. I have to say I never thought I would spend that on a bag, it just wasn''t something I would do growing up in a frugal family. I was really hesitant to spend the money as there were many other things I could have spent it on but the quality is amazing on this bag. It''s the mini signature hobo and it''s great. I figure I''d rather have one really nice bag than a bunch of cheap ones. Of course now I"m eyeing my next coach bag but that will be a ways off. I can see how they get addictive!

I''ve always been a big Coach fan and have been buying them for years . . . the other day a pink one. I live in Carlsbad so I just go to the outlet store there. They tend to be last season''s styles, but that''s o.k. with me. I think $200 for a bag is not too bad. They wear very well. I wouldn''t feel guilty about buying it. I''ve gone the route of trying less expensive bags (I have two authentic Dooneys I got on ebay and a Stone Mountain) and it''s just not the same.

I am another bad influence saying "Go for it!" I have the larger Soho Pocketflap purse which I bought in September of last year, I know it's only been 6 months, but I condition it regularly and it shows no signs of wear and I use it often. I do think that Coach's leather handbags will last for years and years and from what you have said, so do their fabric bags! One thing I find a little annoying is that their fabric is the same price as the leather bags. In a fabric vs. leather scenario, who would choose the fabric?? Maybe it's just me.

I hope you get the bag. I think you will really enjoy it! Here is also another way to justify it. If it only lasts you 4 years (which it definitely should outlast the fabric one), then that is 0.15c per day! : ) (That also includes the extra day for the leap year in 200 And if it lasts longer than that then it is even cheaper : )
