Nah. I''m really more of a ring person. Plus, if I set the larger one into a pendant it would make it much hard to admire the horsetail!

That''s a really pretty ring, but I think I still prefer my original idea. Plus, once I start thinking too much I''ll never make a decision. Why do you think the larger stone still doesn''t have a home?

My dirty little secret has been revealed!!!

Yeah, Elmo, I do think you''re right. I''m really more about admiration than adornment. When I bought my OMC I was quite happy to play with it for months---staring at it through the loupe, testing the Idealscope with it, rolling it around, sticking it under different light sources---before I finally set it in a ring. The advantage to having it in a right, though, is being able to take it out into the world so I can appreciate it under even more light sources!!!

MINE!!, I"m rather jealous of your avatar. I wish I could get my dems to show up half as well. How did you capture both the translucence and the shine of your stone?!

Anyway, here''s yet another poor attempt. Please excuse all the cotton threads. The top is the larger demantoid so you can sorta see both the color and the size difference. The larger one has more of an olive tone to it, which suits my tastes if I am to wear a stone of that size. The smaller stones are somewhat more of that Jell-o green, which isn''t too bright for my tastes in the smaller sizes.
