New Diamond Leverback Earrings!

I am so thrilled with these new diamonds!!! Yekutiel at ID Jewelry is AMAZING. I called on a whim to inquire about a second pair of studs...and he was so fast and so amazing, I had them within the hour.

They are incredible! I had them set initially in 6 prong studs but changed them to leverbacks. Yekutiel got the most amazing cut stones available - I heart Idealscope! - and was first rate in terms of EVERYTHING. His staff is so much fun and I love dropping by the diamond district because you can voice an idea and POOF! It's there in your hot little hands before you can blink. I love that!!!! I know jewelry is a big purchase, but when I know what I want, I want it now! LOL.

They're both ideal cut GIA J VS2
.70 and .71 carat each = 1.41 tcw

Here are my first pair of studs - custom halo in platinum.
These are .77 and .78 each with ten 8-pointers around each stud = 3.15 tcw I think. Gotta look up the other thread to make sure...

I wanted a second pair because these were so dressy and too blingy for every day wear. Kind of felt unsafe wearing these everywhere in these times... especially in New York. They get a lot of attention & compliments, though!

On the ear! Very sparkly! Too bad I can't see them when they're on...

I am off work today and didn't even do my hair. Bling took precedence. As it always should. Ha.

Not my best shot, but here you can see the difference between a .7 and a 2.7 for comparison.
E-ring is a GIA F triple ex. You can't really see the color difference between the F and the J earrings unless you tilt them a certain way.

Also, the earrings are much smaller so they hold much less color to my eye. J is ideal for earrings, IMHO. That's why I bought 2 pairs of J earrings! These are stationary leverbacks (fixed to the post) but they do have lots of movement when my head moves, they move! They also kind of wiggle in the ear... because they're attention hogs.

They are beautiful! I was considering having my studs turned into lever backs because i dont like
the way the sit with the screwbacks. They fall foward if I dont have the backs on really tight.
(I really hate them). My other option that I am contemplating is having them turned into
dangles to wear with diamond huggies. Oh, what to do, what to do???
