Here''s my plan. I was originally planning on proposing sometime in mid January, but I can''t wait any longer. This is going to be my Christmas gift to her and we will celebrate when we go overseas to visit her parents - over Christmas and New Year''s.
I got in touch with the local newspaper and asked them if I could get a 1/2 page flyer ad in the paper of a picture of me knelling with the ring in a ring box. Surrounding my picture, will be red rose petals created a heart shape around the picture of me. This will be a 4-fold flyer ad, and it will be a fake one for sales on bridal dresses and accessories. I told the company that''s doing my work that I want it to look as non-flashy as possible, just like regular mail.
I plan to stuff it in her mailbox the day I decide to propose, either Dec 12th or Dec 13th, and since she LOVES going through the mail all the time, I would slip it in there and I''d tell her to look at the bridal dresses in a joking manner and laugh it off - she''ll prob get pissed- in a humorous way, she''s very easy going - but that is sometimes a great thing when something so great follows
By the time she realizes what''s inside the ad and sees the picture, I''ll be kneeling down behind her.
I''ll be posting hand shots after next weekend sometime ... the week of the 15th before our trip!!!
